The Ingress has pulled you in. Your body experiences several sensations at once: being pushed forward as if a hand is resting on your back, momentary and startling blindness, a gentle ringing in your head. You have difficulty discerning whether it is hot or cold, but where you have been prodded is noticeably warmer than the rest of you. Some may suffer from dizziness while others are perfectly fine. Once equilibrium has been reestablished, you will notice you are standing on a long platform and that the room is filled with a soft cerulean light. It's slightly humid and dark despite the glow around you, and various machines line the walls on either side, though they are not accessible from where you stand. Shortly after, you are led out and toward the medbay.
Inside this room, you are given a physical scan and sign a contract that states you are now part of the crew of the Moira with a specific job. This process consists of a complete work-up of medical history and current health, and afterwards, you are given your MID, a device that is integrated into your hand with only the slightest pinch. From there, you are guided out of the medbay and to your living quarters.
MERO DECK ● NOMO DECK ● MORO DECK
☄Crew members exposed to Exuo will notice that effects are slowly beginning to taper off. However, most will still continue to feel some agitation over the smallest things. Perhaps a visit to the UV beds will lighten that mood of yours.

☄MINI RECEPTION
Orders have been sent down to the kitchen to prepare something small but fulfilling for the entirety of the crew as a way to thank them for their hard work gathering supplies and returning to the Moira mostly unscathed. The mess hall has been decorated—kind of. There are small, tidy bows stuck to the backs of chairs and “party favors” spread out across the tables. These favors make a room smell sweet but are otherwise harmless. As a gift from Thán, he has provided the crew with a treat of sorts in addition to the foods the kitchen has prepared. All crew scheduled for morning shifts in the kitchen will have helped with these preparations. As a note, there is also a soft, unfamiliar melody coming from an old radio on one of the tables. The captains encourage everyone to relax, have fun, and get to know one another better.
Other areas of the ship are also open to exploration! Privileges for crew ranked Tiruncula** are as follows: (1) shift in kitchen and/or mess hall duties can be skipped each week without repercussions.

"You’ve seen this kind of technology before?"

If there's one thing Elizabeth doesn't want to do, it's start sharing that she used to be able to open tears on her own. Without a machine. These people probably wanted to go home-- how long before they started demanding she find a way to start opening tears again?

Where she’s from, she’s used to people talking about their places of origin in terms of planets and celestial bodies. Not “timelines.”

"Our lives are made up of constants and variables. Every time we make a choice, something changes whether we see it directly or not. Entire countries can be established or never founded, people can take a different career path and affect their fields in different ways-- those are just general examples.
"But throughout timelines, sometimes there are constants-- things that will always exist no matter what. Perhaps something my timeline and this one have in common is this technology that can bring us from one timeline to another."

“Is that why so many people on this ship have heard about a planet called ‘Earth,’ yet none of them have heard of Atlas or the Vault?”

Fontaine isn't the only one to use that name, though. This could refer to literally anything else. They could be thinking of completely different things.
But Elizabeth still needs to sit down. Logic, in this case, can't help her.
"I'm sorry--" she blurts out before walking, quickly, towards the exit. Suddenly it's so small in the corridor, she can't move, something is holding her.

“Wait!” She pursues her into the hall, intending to grab her by the arm, but that proves unnecessary as the woman suddenly stops dead in her tracks. Athena stops too and after a moment, she speaks, voice wary.
“You’ve heard of them.” It’s a statement, not a question. “How?”

“I worked for Atlas, but it wasn’t by choice. They… recruited me and my sisters when we were still children.” A look of distaste crosses her features and she shakes her head. “Not sisters. Just… other girls they recruited.” She can’t call them sisters any longer. Not after what happened to Jess.
“My loyalties don’t lie with Atlas. I can at least promise you that much.”

"Well that's... embarrassing," she admits, closing her eyes and resting against the wall. "And an insane parallel. Atlas, as far as I'm concerned, was a man, kidnapping and using young girls to fuel his takeover of a city named Rapture." Elizabeth pinches the bridge of her nose and takes another deep breath. "He tortured me shortly before I got here, the name alone makes my skin crawl."
