SHIP LIFE
”Working together not only helps us move more quickly, it changes the nature of what we can undertake.”

The Ingress has pulled you in. Your body experiences several sensations at once: being pushed forward as if a hand is resting on your back, momentary and startling blindness, a gentle ringing in your head. You have difficulty discerning whether it is hot or cold, but where you have been prodded is noticeably warmer than the rest of you. Some may suffer from dizziness while others are perfectly fine. Once equilibrium has been reestablished, you will notice you are standing on a long platform and that the room is filled with a soft cerulean light. It's slightly humid and dark despite the glow around you, and various machines line the walls on either side, though they are not accessible from where you stand. Shortly after, you are led out and toward the medbay.

Inside this room, you are given a physical scan and sign a contract that states you are now part of the crew of the Moira with a specific job. This process consists of a complete work-up of medical history and current health, and afterwards, you are given your MID, a device that is integrated into your hand with only the slightest pinch. From there, you are guided out of the medbay and to your living quarters.

MERO DECKNOMO DECKMORO DECK

Crew members exposed to Exuo will notice that effects are slowly beginning to taper off. However, most will still continue to feel some agitation over the smallest things. Perhaps a visit to the UV beds will lighten that mood of yours.

MINI RECEPTION
Orders have been sent down to the kitchen to prepare something small but fulfilling for the entirety of the crew as a way to thank them for their hard work gathering supplies and returning to the Moira mostly unscathed. The mess hall has been decorated—kind of. There are small, tidy bows stuck to the backs of chairs and “party favors” spread out across the tables. These favors make a room smell sweet but are otherwise harmless. As a gift from Thán, he has provided the crew with a treat of sorts in addition to the foods the kitchen has prepared. All crew scheduled for morning shifts in the kitchen will have helped with these preparations. As a note, there is also a soft, unfamiliar melody coming from an old radio on one of the tables. The captains encourage everyone to relax, have fun, and get to know one another better.

Other areas of the ship are also open to exploration! Privileges for crew ranked Tiruncula** are as follows: (1) shift in kitchen and/or mess hall duties can be skipped each week without repercussions.

He can see someone picking at their food, which is clearly a sign of respectable paranoia and also clearly a sign Loki really needs to bother them, right this second. He's been very well behaved recently, and he needs to cause a little mild mischief. He can't help it. It's who he is.

"The food is... mostly harmless, I promise. Entirely human-safe, I tested it on a human and everything."

Honestly, it's not like he likes being given a job, but if he has to have one to get by on this ship, he's going to do it moderately well. The food coming from his kitchens is going to be edible. Mostly. He might have slipped some extra chilli into something, just to keep people on their toes.

Bruce is already guarded as it is, but when someone happens to approach him, a complete stranger to him no less, he naturally gets even more tense. Shoulders squaring, he turns a little, looking at the young-looking man that approached him with a dry smile.

"Oh, great. Thanks. A stranger on a spaceship telling me he tested the food on humans. That's... comforting."

Because humor and sarcasm are the best way to deal with this situation, clearly.

"I tested it on a human I'm not likely to want to cause much harm?"

But he grins, sharp and just a little terrible. Humour and sarcasm are always the best way to deal with Loki, frankly. He likes the challenge.

He really did test it on Billy first, though.

"I'm not likely to make the food dangerous. Far too obvious who tampered with it, and I'd rather not cause too much suspicion."

That grin is eerily familiar, it makes Bruce feel a little uncomfortable and uneasier than usual, but he can't quite put his finger on why. He says nothing to it, though, just keeping that usual smile of his as he picks out a few small bits of food, whatever looks more familiar and less weird to him.

"No, I don't think anyone who's minimally smart would want to cause trouble in a place like this."

There's something in the way the guy says it, though. Like he won't do anything to the food, but he might to something else, something people won't suspect him for. It has Bruce looking at him with a healthy dose of wariness.
