NOMO DECK, ROOM #005
She gives a small knock to the door of her suite, giving a warning to anyone who might be in, and lets herself in.

When Breq comes in Frisk has settled on one of the top bunks, sprawled out and having fun playing with one of the games they had found on the MID. Hearing the woman come in, they smile and squirm over to the edge of the bed and wave. "Hi! Are you one of my roommates?"

“Yes. Did you clean this up…” Her eyes finally flicker up, and she seems to go very still. She stares hard at the child laying on the bed, her expression sharp. It’s obvious to her, they’re different. Not the same person at all; the tone, the posture, a dozen other minute differences that maybe some would overlook, but Breq would not.
But the resemblance is uncanny.

Oh...oh wow, that's a really intense look she's giving them, isn't it? Frisk shrinks back a little, biting their lip. "And...the tea got cold, an' I didn't know where to heat it up again. So I hadda throw it out."

“That’s fine. Thank you.”
The contrast between the two children is stark, and the coincidence more than a little surreal. Of course, Radchaai don’t believe in coincidences, she reminds herself, before shuffling further into the room. She takes a seat on the edge of one of the lower bunks, her movements careful. None of her injuries had been serious, but the lack of sleep before it had all happened, and continuing to push herself for hours afterwards has stripped her of energy.
She stares at the table where she’d set up the tea, wishing she had a hot, fresh cup in her hand now. If Seivarden was here she would already be making it, probably before Breq was even back. She’d have to look into getting one of those electric kettles she’d seen some of the crew using. It would be good to have, instead of having to go find boiling water elsewhere on the ship.
She doesn’t move for a long time, Frisk’s presence all but forgotten in thought.

Frisk is quiet while they watch Breq, worry taking hold but uncertainty keeping them from going over right away. Something about that stare was unnerving, like she was looking at something more than just Frisk's outer self. It was a little like how Sans looked, all those times in the golden hall.
After a few minutes Frisk carefully climbs down from their claimed bunk and goes over to Breq, not getting too far into her personal space but still close enough that a quieter conversation isn't too weird. "Are you okay? You weren't hurt, were you?" Frisk remembers seeing the blood, but they'd assumed it was just an accident.
