[Laura makes a vague, non-committal sound at what Jean says. She's too busy wiping at tears and focusing on being comforting to really say much. She tries to think of what Storm would do, but finds it challenging. Really, she's not meant for this kind of role at all.]

[She awkwardly shifts so she can crouch and give Jean a hug. Because she is glad to see her. They're family, and that's important. Seeing Jean like this frightens her, but she's able to hide that well enough to try and make it better.]
