Unlike the majority of user structures in the city, this one actually has Security installed at the checkpoints. Security does not, as it happens, pay much attention to a single scowling employee in a janitor's outfit. Not when they present the correct identification... and seem exceptionally uninterested in small talk.

When said employee takes an elevator by themself and vanishes halfway through the ascent? Possibly, a careful observer might have noticed. The acrobatic ascent up the shaft to the high-clearance floors is out of sight, but in theory, monitoring devices should have detected the intrusion as they emerged. But energy signature is masked, pathfinding setting a careful route around (and over) any cameras.

Still, when the "janitor" reaches behind themselves and pulls a glowing laser frisbee from thin air? That might have been a giveaway. If anyone but the friendly window washing crew outside were there to see it.

His own scans detect some kind of sensor on the window frame. Rinzler splits his disks and cuts a gap through the building's wall instead.

The hat probably isn't flattering at all. It probably fits her weird salarian head super awkwardly. Clearly whoever designed these hats didn't have people with horns in mind.

Raeka briefly looks up from her task, fixing Nihlus with the flattest look pretty much ever.

"There will be plenty of time for jokes later, Nihlus. We need to stay focused."

What did this conversation need? Definitely some dubious headtilts. The humming of paired disks rises and falls as weapons merge, and One (1) Scowling Janitor Face protrudes sideways through the gap. It's an odd contrast to the ticking rumble of code mismatch.

Not that the dark mask and glowing lights that appear as Rinzler detaches the holo projector are much more normal by most standards.

"No cameras," he reports, tossing the device toward Nihlus.

Translation: so hurry up.

A. Escape

When the signal arrives at last, Yori activates her pac-disc to reveal its hidden spaceship. She rushes through what flight prep she couldn't do in advance and takes off without asking anyone for clearance, zooming upward between the twinkling lights of Savrii buildings. Up to the designated exit point, to hover there, loading door open.

Backed against the comm tower, she's got to watch the sky for signs of Security, hands ready on the controls. Better to abort and come around again than let herself and any passengers get shot down.

When the Moira crashed, Yori had flown one of these little transporters to safety, passengers and all. She desperately hopes this trip will end with more of the safety and less of the crashing.

"Is that everyone?" she calls to whoever reached the ship first. "Get in the seats!" She'd like her passengers secured.

B. Landing

Yori sets down gently in a forest that will take time to search, far enough from the sewers not to be obvious and close enough to an entrance to get under cover within a quick walk. "Everyone out," she calls.

Once she gets the boundary set, the ship vanishes back into her pac-disc, a useful tool everyone should have.

She heaves a sigh of relief, shaking out cramped fingers. Her part didn't end in disaster.

Now that she doesn't need to focus on how not to crash, she has free processes to worry about the rest of the task. "How did it go?" she asks the nearest infiltrator. "Were you hurt?"

Tex is the only one capable of carrying out the role she is intended to play in this, and she's taking it seriously. The invisibility on her armor isn't foolproof—if someone's looking directly at her, they may detect a shimmer. However, she can keep to the shadows and guard the entrances and exits to the building, help keep the team from being detected and take out anyone who might raise an alarm.

Getting Nova and Ryuuzaki to the control room is the first order of business. It's important that they slip in undetected. Her job right now is to enter the building and scout out the location of security. Knowing where it's located will make Nova and Ryuuzaki's job much easier. It's important to do this without disrupting anything, so Tex follows quietly the next time someone uses a badge to enter.

She locates the security facilities on the fourth floor. The neighboring room will be the perfect place for Nova and Ryuuzaki to set up shop—Tex can tell just by looking that the wires for the security cameras run here from the ceiling and walls. Other equipment that needs to be disabled should be accessible here as well. Tex heads back outside to let the other members of her team know where they should try to get to.

Nova is silent but antsy as she waits for Tex's return, one hand fidgeting on her wrist, ready to activate her omni-tool if necessary. Infiltration back on the Citadel had involved more credits, bribery, violence - nothing quite so stealthy as this, and while she did manage to pass as an alternate universe Shepard for over a year, being somewhere and doing things she shouldn't be isn't as easy as saying I should go. To this end she's not wearing her armor, the red and white stripe on black being too distinctive; instead, her PacDisc is on her wrist along with her omni-tool, ready to eject her armor, shotgun, and anything else from the odd gifts they'd received on the Moira that can be repurposed as weaponry.

When she spots Tex on the way back, she gives her a nod, but waits for her to approach, not wanting to draw people's eyes with movement.

"What have we got?"

Raeka rolls her eyes just a bit, but accepts Nihlus's assistance into the building. She activates her omni-tool and does a little scanning once she's in, glancing up at Rinzler and awaiting his reply to Nihlus. Nothing was coming up on her scans, but this guy was sure to have a better idea of what security looked like.

Excuse you, Rinzler's banter is very mission-focused. He ducks his helmet in a nod.

"Access points monitored. Cameras in primary corridors, radial pattern from central column. Security units in force on lower levels; pattern unobserved on upper floors. Immediate proximity clear."

Ensuring access first, scouting for more threats after. Not as fun a priority list, but Rinzler does know how to share.

The black helmet tips sideways, adding one more point to the data dump.

"Unknown sensors on exterior windows."
