What: Space taco picnic and watching space whales

[Aueia's much nicer than the first planet they encountered the space whales on, all soft golden skies and fluffy clouds and breathtaking scenery. Wanda leads Lorna to a sort of park she'd found the last time she was here - it has great views of the green sea below and the whales above.

It's also a long way down. Last time the settlements were built on the mountains, and while they hadn't seemed like the most stable things, it's hard to get used to everything just floating unassisted here.

Wanda pauses in a space between the trees so they can see the whales overhead. She's brought a soft blanket and several cushions in her duffel bag so they can eat and whalewatch in comfort.]

Is this all right? I think we should have a good view from here.

[She smiles and nods slightly.] If you say so; I am deferring to your space whale watching expertise here. This place is super pretty, on that note.

It's the nicest place the Savrii let us visit. You can even go swimming but I think it would be a little strange.

[Wanda drops the blanket on the golden grass, spreads it out with a flick of her wrist, and tosses the cushions onto it. That should do the trick...]

Most things are a little strange here. Even after a year I am not used to everything being so different.

[Especially the food. It's possible to find things that taste similar to Earth food, but some of the fruits she's seen are just bizarre. To say nothing of the bright blue meat she wasn't quite brave enough to try once.]

[She takes a seat on the blanket once its spread out.] Yeah, space anywhere is ... space. I mean -- no shit, right -- but you know, just in the sense that it's definitely a thing to get used to. I liked it, back in my world, but when I came back to earth after being there so long, I guess I came back more, I dunno, snappy. Or something. [Or at least she'd heard it often enough. She thinks of the 'you were in space so long, of course your brain isn't quite right any more', but then again she got similar insults often enough in the form of 'look who your family is, of course you're crazy'. u g h.

You've lived in space before?

[This is all something out of science fiction for Wanda - it's hard to imagine that in an alternate universe, casually living in space is a thing people do in 2015. Then again, that particular alternate universe is full of new things her world has no counterpart for. Maybe it shouldn't be so surprising that their tech might be much more advanced.

She peers over at the food - honestly, if nothing was a weird color she'd never know they weren't normal tacos. There weren't exactly Taco Bells in Sokovia.]

They don't look as strange as some things I've tried here. [This is her trying to be encouraging.]
