I'll stop the world and melt with you
Who: Team Voltron, other residents of the Lion House, and anyone else who might have reason to stop by.
When: Late March
Where: Lion House
What: Lance throws a pizza party.
Warnings: Mild space racism is inevitable, but other than that, probably nothing
[ Now that Team Voltron has been completed, and everyone more or less settled in, you'd think everyone in the Lion House would be as content as possible. Unfortunately, you would be wrong, because these kids are dramatic as hell. Things have been increasingly tense all month, and it's increasingly not fun to be around, never quite sure who's been arguing about what with who. Things are clearly going to come to a head soon.
Lance, however, would rather avoid that. Instead, he takes a not insignificant portion of his pay from his most recent cargo hauling mission and spends most of an afternoon shopping around and arranging something special for the residents of the house. When people start to arrive home for the evening, there is a spread in the living room waiting for them: multiple large pizzas, garlic knots and breadsticks, soda, and salad are set out, buffet style across a table clearly dragged in from the dining room. At the end of the table is a giant cooler with several flavors of ice cream (from mundane normal flavors, to some that are weird and alien), a full selection of toppings, and cones and bowls. There's also a sheet cake which Lance has clearly tried to decorate by himself, with a poorly drawn icing rendition of Voltron squiggled across it.
Family, friends, housemates: come together and bond over junk food. ]

[But it's a distraction.]
[It's a good distraction.]
[So is walking into the house and seeing... what looks like an entire pizza hut laid out across the table. The table that's in the living room now.]
Did... I miss something?

[Breaking a cardinal rule of pizza and folding it in half to eat it. Like some kind of awful pizza-taco. Wow. This is the guy you admire, Keith. Why do you do that again?]

He does this several times.
Then, slowly, Keith folds his own slice in half. ]

[ Stirred out of his surprised staring, he decides to go for a slice. One of the normal looking ones first — he's not bold enough for alien pizza yet. ]

It at least keeps her from wandering down for the first hour or so.
Hunger eventually wins out, and now that it's been some time she can assume that maybe Hunk isn't down there with the food anymore and she can successfully avoid that awkward encounter. So she leaves her room and pads carefully down the hall, down the stairs and into the kitchen, looking around quickly just to make sure Hunk isn't still there. And then she's just as quickly moving to greedily snatch up some pizza.]

[Sorry, Pidge. You can't escape him. Not even when you're being stealthy. Because his head just pops up from the other side of the couch, looking directly at her with a look of surprise, and, admittedly, concern.]
[... she's not the only one having difficulties with recent events. Events... he's not sure she should know about, until they have everything figured out.]
