Who: Adam Parrish & anyone
When: Throughout March
Where: Kauto R2
What: catchall for adam at work and basically not at home
Warnings: none for now, watch subject lines
Garage
[Adam could have stayed working on St. Monmouth and easily made more than enough money since Ronan is basically a bottomless well of it but there's something that's important to him about making his own way, establishing independence and a job goes a long way with that. So, he'd found the equivalent of an auto shop in R2 and while he'd had to expand his mechanical knowledge to a whole new slew of things it was a good job and he'd go home every day feeling satisfied.
So, either you're looking for Adam Parrish or you're looking to get something fixed. Either way, he'll half look up when you come in.]
What can I help you with?
Wildcard
[Sometimes he finds lunch out and about so feel free to run into him like that or hit me up with whatever. Message me at
poetanarchy if you want to discuss something.]

garage, of course!!
In his case, he's definitely looking for Adam - no broken things on his end. He turns his head toward the voice, blinks a few times then flashes a broad grin.]
Well, hallo, Adam. Finding you in here was easier than I thought it would be.
no subject
Hey. There's not a lot of room to get lost really.
no subject
It's rather convenient, actually.
[Might as well get right to the point, then.] Do you have any lunch plans?
no subject
Not really. I usually just eat while I work. [Not because he had to or anything.]
no subject
You work a lot, don't you? Taking some time for food is important, Adam. Will you come to lunch with me?
no subject
Sure. Now?
no subject
Ja, if that works for you?
no subject
[ Adam smiles at Kurt and then moves to clean up a few things in preparation of leaving. ]
Did you have a spot in mind?
no subject
[He grins in return, lowers the hand from his head and moves to lean against a nearby wall, rocking back on his heels with his arms behind his back.]
Not really, no. Is there anything in particular you'd like to have?
no subject
[ That helps narrow it down. Most of the places around here out to pricey and so Adam's not particularly worried about what they choose (he's such a miser). ]
There's a good sandwich shop and then there's this noodle place... and then there's some other stranger places that I guess are more local.
no subject
[Kurt shrugs, cheeks flushing with embarrassment at both of their equally indecisive natures, but Adam mentions a few places and he perks slightly.]
What sort of noodles? Italian, Asian, or some sort of mix?
no subject
It's easy when he only thinks about himself but when there's someone else in the equation he worries about the correct options. ]
no subject
[Thankfully, Kurt's not picky at all when it comes to food. He has preferences, sure, but when you have a black hole for a stomach, you can't be indecisive.]
no subject
The noodle shop isn't that far away and Adam starts leading Kurt there. ]
no subject
Falling into step beside Adam, Kurt tucks his hands into the pockets of his jeans, head turning to face the other male.] How have you been?
no subject
I've been okay, I guess. [ Adam remembers to answer out loud, and the half smile he turns the other's way probably isn't all that convincing. Adam's tired and overworked (by his own choice) and it shows pretty easily. ]
What about you?
no subject
Just okay? [Yeah, he's not all that convinced by the gesture, but he'll let Adam have it for the moment.]
I've been fine, [he offers, his own grin far more persuasive. It's not entirely a lie; Adam's struggling with his own problems right now and it wouldn't be fair for him to pile his own onto that.] ... would you like to talk about it?
no subject
There's really nothing to talk about. Life's complicated, what's new right?
no subject
Right, ja. Should there ever be something you do want to talk about, just know that I am here.
no subject
You're a good friend. [ He points toward the shop as they came upon it, moving to open the door for him. ]
no subject
Thank you, Adam. [When the other male moves to open the door, Kurt dips his head in gratitude and steps inside, sparing a glance back over his shoulder.] I feel the same way about you.
no subject
So, what's your favorite kind of noodles? [ He asks, instead of addressing what Kurt had said and then ending up getting into his issues on how he views himself. ]
no subject
I'm biased, I think. Spaetzle is probably my favorite. It's a soft egg noodle that's used in German dishes, usually cooked with butter, although some people use bacon grease.
no subject
I don't know if they have that here.
[ He moves to a table in one of the corners. ]
no subject
I wouldn't expect them to. I'm also rather fond of Asian noodles, though.
[Kurt follows close behind him, moving to slide into a seat once Adam has decided on a table for them.]
