The Ingress has pulled you in. Your body experiences several sensations at once: being pushed forward as if a hand is resting on your back, momentary and startling blindness, a gentle ringing in your head. You have difficulty discerning whether it is hot or cold, but where you have been prodded is noticeably warmer than the rest of you. Some may suffer from dizziness while others are perfectly fine. Once equilibrium has been reestablished, you will notice you are standing on a long platform and that the room is filled with a soft cerulean light. It's slightly humid and dark despite the glow around you, and various machines line the walls on either side, though they are not accessible from where you stand. Shortly after, you are led out and toward the medbay.
Inside this room, you are given a physical scan and sign a contract that states you are now part of the crew of the Moira with a specific job. This process consists of a complete work-up of medical history and current health, and afterwards, you are given your MID, a device that is integrated into your hand with only the slightest pinch. From there, you are guided out of the medbay and into the main hall with specific instructions not to leave.

☄MAIN HALL ( 09.01 to 09.03 )
After everyone is gathered together, you learn that these are your accommodations for the night. The captains explain that the Moira is not readily suited for such a large influx of people, and that this is only temporary. Placed around the room are a variety of blankets, sheets, and mats in lieu of beds, and crates of MREs have been provided along with H2O hydration kits. Some time in the “morning hours”, all MIDs will receive a message designating rooming assignments and areas of the ship that are open to exploration.
GALLEY ● MESS HALL ● REC AREA
All remaining areas accessible to crew members are open later in the “evening hours”. Crew are also informed that the Moira is approximately two days from their current destination.

From a distance, the planet’s reddish atmosphere slowly becomes more transparent the closer the Moira ventures, and mountain ranges, volcanic fields, valleys, ice caps, canyons, deserts, and impact craters are visible in stark detail. The remnants of a lone moon hangs in its outer orbit and impedes the ship’s ability to dock close to the planet’s surface. As the crew prepares to disembark, there are noticeable changes in gravity as well as some disturbances in energy output.
☄EXPLORATORY EXCURSION I ( 09.04 to 09.11 )
Due to unstable atmospheric conditions, crew members must utilize the transporters located in the Cargo Bay to descend to the surface. Each craft holds upwards of six passengers and is piloted remotely via Navigation. Once it lands, orders will be sent to MIDs detailing mission directives. These include: scouting surrounding areas for potential threats, determining if the mile-long road from the transporter to the nearest inhabited area is free of hazards, and assessing local friendliness.
Planetary Environment Details
● The air is breathable. However, there is a pleasant sweetness to it that generates an overall invigoration.
● Vegetation is sparse due to dry and windy weather patterns. It’s dusty, and the ground itself is rather gritty in texture.
● The initial temperature feels hot and causes the skin to prickle with sweat. Yet, the longer one is exposed to the elements, the less you are inclined to notice.
● There is an overall lack of civilization, and what populace there is remains centralized in one area. Crew members may stumble across the occasional explorer returning to their own ship; they are friendly and welcoming but also eager to leave.
● The sun does not seem to set. Even in the “later” hours of the day, it is still as bright as it had been at “noon”.
☄EXPLORATORY EXCURSION II ( 09.12 to 09.17 )
A thriving marketplace that was found during the initial search has been deemed an appropriate place for trade and much needed supplies. Crew members are encouraged to engage in local customs while continuing to maintain their current duties aboard the Moira, and they must assist in the delivery of goods to the transporter. They are more than welcome to explore this new area.
The Marketplace
● There is no monetary system in place; if there is an item you want, trade for it. (Locals will accept anything as payment.)
● Booths, shops, and tents line both sides of the pathways weaving throughout the area. Signs with written language are not recognizable; however, MIDs will translate any spoken languages so they are understood. Vendors are an eclectic mix of species, and not all of them are humanoid in form as they are from varying parts of the universe.
● The smells of foreign foods are everywhere. Yet, that familiar sweetness seems to occasionally overpower it. It is also loud as others bustle about their business.
● Natives are not unkind, but they are not as overly welcoming as strangers in the market are. They are quiet, reserved, and helpful to some extent. They are easily recognizable by the plain masks and hoods worn over their faces.
●Seedy areas are found in the depths of the market. Drug and sex trades are not uncommon but not openly displayed.

Main Hall 9.01 - 9.03
The main hall is uncomfortable. Crowded, like their all having some kind of emergency and are bunked together in one place, complete with MRE's and sleeping mats. Tony looks around at the other unfortunate people presumably drawn in by the Ingress and says a little more loudly than necessary, "You'd think we could at least get some coffee while we wait. That's just good manners."
no subject
He's scanning the crowd gathered in the main hall and spots him quickly - the right height, the right eye color, and yeah, that's definitely Stark's voice. He has to say he's a little relieved that it's not just him and Matt Murdock.
Bucky leans back against the wall he's set his mat against, takes the hard biscuit out of his MRE, and chucks it with precision at the back of Tony's head.
"Instant packets in the MREs. Ain't that bad."
no subject
"About time I got to see a familiar face. Sorry about your luck, though."
Tony shakes his head at the comment about the food. How Bucky can brush it off so easily is a mystery. He frowns as he looks around the room, judging the general state of the ship from where he is. It's clear that the captains need the help, but he's not thrilled to be there.
"Are we even sure that they're edible? We don't know who made them or what they really are."
no subject
"Earth MREs are barely edible as is, these can't be any worse. If they wanted us dead, they could have offed us as we came out of that portal." Which means there's a good chance the food isn't poisoned, since. That's pretty counterproductive on a space ship, poisoning resources you yourself might need just to kill some people you could have done in with a gun or a knife earlier. "Nice to see a familiar face, though."
no subject
He can almost see the wheels turning in Bucky's head as he looks at him. Trying to figure him out and decide if he's from the same place or not. He could be from another world. One of the realities like theirs, but not the Tony he knows. That caution is reassuring. He offers Bucky a thin smile and tilts his head as if he can give the man a better look at him and confirm his identity. And Bucky did say he liked seeing the familiar face, so Tony is letting him have a good look.
"They could have. It's certainly a complicated charade to pull if all they wanted was to kill us, but that doesn't mean that the food is any good. Have you taken a look around yet?"
He knows that Bucky. The man doesn't take well to being told where to stay (and that he remembers from experience). He's probably already made a mental map of whatever places he could get to. Maybe he's found something useful.
no subject
"Good? No. I'd kill for a food truck right about now. But I don't think it's unsafe." Bucky would be doing a lot more than he is right now if he thought it was. "The food, at least. Everything else..." Well, he can't speak for everything else, and he shrugs his shoulders blandly. "I've snooped a little. Nothing too out of place so far, but nothing useful either. I still need to go deeper."
There are a lot of nooks and crannies in a space ship, of course, it'll take him longer than this to delve its depths. "What about you?"
no subject
If Tony sounds a little wry, that's only because he's still sore at being brought somewhere against his will. He isn't as suspicious of the food as he is of the ship's mission in general, which still remains vague. The captains are hiding something as far as he's concerned.
"The computer is a mess. It's going to take a while to get anything out of it." That might be intentional. He's not sure at this point. Either the main computer is damaged or the security is just built on redirection, which is unlike anything Tony is used to. It seems wrong, but he can't discount the possibility.
"We're both going to have to do some more digging."
no subject
He chews thoughtfully, swallows, the gears in his head turning as he thinks that over. If Tony's having trouble in the computer system, that's not a good sign. "Anything I can do to help with that? I'll let you know if I find anything relevant but they're going to keep their eyes on me if I spend much time where I'm not supposed to."
no subject
He was scanned the room for any familiar faces when his eyes landed on Tony, not his Tony either because he had slipped out early to go exploring, not that Steve was keeping tabs on him (old habits die hard and he had to keep track of his team). They are similar enough but this Tony is...well buffer, there's a lot more muscle definition there, and he has blue eyes, very blue eyes. He's staring and he realizes that but he's taking in the differences in the two and he doesn't realize he's probably being very obvious about it.
no subject
Nevertheless, he can't avoid Steve. Any Steve. Tony smiles and heads over to the blond as if he's a lot more comfortable than he feels, even waving as he gets closer. From the look Steve was giving him, he's probably got a lot of questions going through his head.
"I thought for a moment I hit my head when I landed, but now that I have a better look... You're a little lighter than our boy."
no subject
It takes Steve a moment to realize what Tony means. He's lighter than their Steve? "Am I heavier in your world?" Was that a polite way to ask what lighter meant? Was Steve not in shape in this Tony's world?
no subject
"He's... more filled out. Just a little. Nothing you can't catch up to in a few years."
Might as well see how good this Cap's sense of humor is. He and Steve make fun of each other in turns all the time, but he has no idea what this other guy thinks of him yet (aside from a little sizing up). At least if he pushes the limits now he'll know where he stands.
"Don't worry, you look fine."
no subject
"I wasn't worried, till now. Are you calling me scrawny?"
no subject
"I would never." Tony grins at the response, thankful that at least some things remain constant between universes. Steve Rogers is still the same, even if he's a bit younger in another life. He puts a hand on the blond's shoulder and gives him an affectionate pat.
"You don't look exactly the same, that's all. The resemblance is close enough. Your friends wouldn't confuse anyone else for you either, though, right? You're one of a kind."
no subject
"I could say the same for you, no missing who you are but you're-" He gestured to Tony vaguely. "You work out more?" Tony never tell the other Tony he just said that. "Plus the blue eyes." That was definitely something he couldn't miss.
"Not sure how one of a kind I am, I just met someone who knew two different versions of me, at the same time." And that was really hard to wrap his head around.
no subject
"Coming from you, I'll take that as a compliment, Captain. I'm not really regulation standard." If he turns his head slightly to be demure and it happens to hide his eye color, then that's only coincidence, right? Would this Steve think the differences were disappointing because they weren't his?
Tony laughs at the last comment, though, getting back his rhythm. Whatever doubt he has is shaken off and he turns back to grin at the other Cap.
"One of a kind," he insists. "Even the universes can't seem to completely replicate you, and nearly everyone in all of them have tried. Although I'm a little jealous of whomever you just met. That's certainly an honor."
no subject
"Steve," he says, when Tony calls him Captain. Out in the field its one thing, he's used to being called Cap or Captain, but normally he's more comfortable with just Steve. Unless this Tony will also call him by a never ending supply of nicknames like his Tony does.
Now its Steve's turn to get flustered. "People have tried to replicate me?" He knows they have tried to replicate the serum but he's not sure thats what Tony was saying, though he kind of hoped it was.
no subject
"I told you, didn't I?" Tony says. "One of a kind. I mean, there have been other Captains, but there's only one Steve Rogers in each world as far as I know. And I guess that makes the difference."
His teasing sobers as he thinks that over. It's what he had tried to tell his own version at one point when they were arguing, but it had come out wrong. Maybe because he'd twisted it around at the time--they'd both been angry--but it had been true under all of that.
"No one can be like you. It's not just the serum, either. Honestly, it's kind of infuriating sometimes."
no subject
Something else Tony said made him pause. "There have been other Captain Americas?"
