[ Well, that's a pointed comment if Snake's ever heard one. Liquid is hardly a subtle person, and he seems to think he still has an axe to grind over the whole "recessive genes" thing. Snake is pretty sure that's all a bunch of crap anyway, but he absolutely isn't going to get into it right now. He knows how to pick his battles, and this one isn't worth it.
He watches closely as Liquid reforms, the sight still enough to throw him for a loop even after it had been (more or less) explained. Liquid hasn't presented any threat so far, but Snake knows that could always change. He has to know what he's in for.
When a question is tossed his way, Snake immediately stiffens, that urge to keep his business to himself clawing to the forefront. He doesn't owe Liquid anything, but at this point it's probably pretty obvious what he's doing. ]
