do you really expect me to read All That Shit [closed]
Who: The Big Sister and Jack Wynand
When: January 1st
Where: Camp
What: The Big Sister needs help deciphering a response to her post.
Warnings: Nothing right now, will update if needed
[Asking for help isn’t the Big Sister’s strong suit. For one, “asking” implies a level of communication that the Big Sister often falls short of, and secondly, “help” was something that almost never existed in Rapture. Still, there are some tasks even she can admit she can’t do alone.
Case in point: the series of messages left on her video post. There’s no way she’d ever be able to decipher that wall of text and yet… she recognizes the word ADAM. It could be important. With those many letters, it has to be, right?
Curiosity can drive one to do unlikely things -- such as approach one of the very, very few people who had proven themselves helpful (or at the very least non-threatening) in the past, with a reluctant request. It isn’t difficult to track Jack down amidst the tents in camp. Now she just has to figure out how to get him to do what she wants.
The strange, warped whistle of the Big Sister’s voice will alert Jack to her presence behind him. She’s in her armor, able to wear it now that the weakness from before has ebbed. Turns out, it's helpful for more than just self-defense; the light shining from its faceplate is an even yellow, a sure sign that she has no hostile intentions towards the man in front of her.
After a moment, the helmet dips slightly forwards. It’s probably the closest thing Jack is going to get to a greeting.]

Oh, hey. You're looking better. [ Probably? ] You got your plasmids back yet?
[ He's got his back and it's a reassuring presence to feel that power thrumming in his veins again. ]

She draws his attention to the TAB in her hand, holding it out in front of her, and tilts her head at what she hopes is a sufficiently questioning angle. Can she show him something?]

[ He steps closer, keeping an eye on her faceplate in case he violates a boundary he's still figuring out. He leans in to take a closer look at the TAB screen to try and get an idea of what she's about. ]
Is it okay if I get a little closer? I'm not gonna try anything, honest.

She watches him approach with attention, but her vigilance is more instinct than real paranoia now. Though she doesn’t have her plasmids, she’s still strong enough that he’s in much more danger approaching her than she is in being approached. Still, it’s unusual that he should ask – he must be afraid of her and for good reason. If he did try anything, he’d be skewered on one of her needles before he had a chance to so much as drop his weapon.
She grants him permission with a nod and then pokes at the TAB to bring up the network thread in question. She holds it out to him again. It should be clear she wants him to read what’s on the screen.]
