"Let them in, and take them out."

So it's... strange. To look over and see the user defaulting to his own means.
Rinzler's steps are silent, but the slight increase in the rattling will alert Miller as the program drifts a little nearer. The shift in pitch sounds distinctly more aggressive, but a glance will verify the direction of the enforcer's gaze—or rather, glare. Rinzler's black helmet is fixed on the savrii with a stiff, irritated angle.
He doesn't trust them.]
Welcome to the thread with low dialog
[Yes, he agrees, he doesn't trust them. So far, they've not been given much to trust. This is no different. No different than Miller's felt in a long time. But the truth is, some of this place has been easier.]
[It feels better to communicate this way, actually. He's not even questioning these people himself. He'd rather listen.]
The lowest. :|b
Still, they're not going home.
The quiet draws out for just upwards of a micro before Rinzler finally turns to face Miller directly. His shoulders are sloped, hands half-open at each side. It's as neutral a default as the enforcer has—but the careful, precise effort to maintain it reads as anything but. There's a beat. Then the opaque mask hesitantly angles.

[Finally he speaks, though the statement is useless. "I'm fine" is a common statement of, "I am healthy and can function if I need to." That's all he can be. It's probably what any of them can be.]
Are you back to normal?
[Those powers had been a point of contention. But one thing hadn't changed: Miller had been genuinely worried for Rinzler's welfare. Despite it leading to about as close to a verbal clash as a man who didn't speak much at all could get.]

He's fine too.]

[A misunderstanding he figures. Panic versus frustration. Miller's not as at ease as he once was, but he doesn't speak out of emotional over-reaction. Not this time.]
Are you going to go through?
[Or stay in this hell hole and wait for something better? For Rinzler, it's an option.]

Shouldn't have
[...before hesitating, pausing—stalling, halfway through. He shouldn't have argued. Shouldn't have laid hands on the user, shouldn't have spoken or assumed the value of an I. But he wasn't going to give up his disks, and he wasn't—isn't—
He's not sorry for that.
...and he won't be. Even if he should.
He shouldn't say that. He's not sure what he should express. In the end, he leaves the string unfinished, hunching in a little closer with an apologetic nod. He's sorry he's not better at this. That that's all he can come up with.
And yes, he's going through.]
