"Let them in, and take them out."

Yet, so far she seems to be coming up blank. Of those words that she does understand, they mean little, like taking a book, ripping it up, tossing the pages in to the air, and then trying to piece together the information. It is a jumbled mess. Her eyes glance across the area, and while she is not familiar with the speaker, Padmé answers anyway.]
It does seem to be that way, but perhaps there may well be some clue somewhere.

[Nate's wary of being optimistic, but he doesn't want to cut off the chance to learn something through needless pessimism, either. He wanders her way, casting a glance over what she's got.]
Find anything that looks interesting? Even if it doesn't make sense. Maybe we can find pieces of information and fit them together.

[It is said lightly and with a small smile. Still, she motions with her head in the direction of a smaller pile, maybe ten pages in total so far, which is incredibly smaller than the other stack with over fifty.]
I fear there isn't that much, but anything that is not beyond comprehension is in that pile. I can't say the contents are exactly my area of expertise.
no subject
[Nate reaches for the smaller pile and begins sifting through it, eyes scanning the pages.]
So what is your area of expertise? I don't think we've talked much before.
no subject
Politics. I was a Senator for my planet before arriving here.
no subject
For your whole planet? Just one person? Is it a really small planet?
no subject
In the Galactic Senate, yes. Naboo has a population of around six hundred million. It is smaller than Coruscant or even Alderaan, although my planet does have two sentient beings, and there is a Gungan who represents his species.
no subject
Damn. [Nate lets out a low whistle.] Two people for an entire planet? Where I'm from, I don't think fifty would do it.
no subject
[While there have been conflicts over the years for various reasons, such as the ruler not ruling for the people, or even the Trade Federation's bid to try to take it over, overall, Naboo has been lucky.]
Although Jar Jar... He is still learning about diplomacy.
no subject
[In his experience it's not scarcity that's the problem, it's greed.]
What kind of name is Jar Jar?
no subject
[Although Naboo was green grasses and blue waters. It allows for foods to be grown with an ease, and for herbivores to eat to their hearts content.
She offers a smile, knowing that the name could be quite different.]
His. No doubt some of the names from my galaxy might sound quite different from what you are familiar with.

[Not that they were friends. Just the opposite.]

But I shall not make the mistake of calling you that.
