Not really, Then again, it's not my area of study.
[ If it was more about robotics, she have at least a passing understanding of it, since that's a hobby, but it sounds like the Ingress is alive in some way ]
We can turn it over to someone else who knows more. Weren't there people on the ship who understand how the Ingress works?
[ ooc: you mean the TDM thread? If so, then totally. :3 ]

[She settles back from poking through the rest of the things in the room and looks at Mei.]
Have you been settling in alright? I know it's been a lot of turmoil to come into, but it's a good crew - for the most part.

[ She settles down across from her, sitting on her knees. ]
I think so. People have been friendly and helpful. And now that my legs feel better, I can help too! Though I'm hoping to be of more use when we reach... well, wherever it is we're going next. Hopefully someplace we can settle while we figure out how to get back home.

[Stranded on a planet in the outer reaches of space. Not a scenario she would have envisioned herself in, a few months ago. She waves the papers in her hand.] If we can figure this out, with what we have on hand here? We might have a chance, but I don't know how likely that is.

[ Mei is just going to be the optimistic voice you need. ]
It's not what we thought, but it doesn't have to be bad, right?
no subject
[That's good, Mei! She needs that in her life!]
[She sighs at the idea of doesn't have to be bad, though. Mei hasn't been here long enough to see some of the true horrors they'd had to travel through.]
No, I guess it doesn't have to be. The likelihood that it is, though? [She shurgs; no point in sugar coating things for Mei.] It could get pretty intense, up on the ship.

[ Just to give Pharah a benchmark for how much weirdness she's heard about so far. ]
You all must be used to enduring so much. It's really inspiring.

I wish it didn't have to be so. For once it would be nice to get everyone together without having to worry about a crisis.

[ She knows how it looks right now with the mess of tech and paperwork around them, but like she said: there has to be someone here who can make sense of it all. ]
And if it isn't, then we have experience dealing with crises, right?
