There's is plenty here to reflect upon, plenty to see he has in common with Luke. It's interesting to think they could be so close, so similar, and yet having never met Luke before arriving to this common place, Obi-Wan could very well be having this conversation with a stranger.

"It sounds as if you've had quite a life, Luke. After all you've experienced, did you ever expect to find yourself in a situation like this?"
