[Rinzler drags himself together... and Frisk sinks into a new crash. It could be funny, if anyone were in a state to observe. But where the enforcer had choked on his own shattered pieces, locked off files and decision trees disconnected from the whole, the beta's collapse is much more natural. Much smaller. They're very much themself, and it's emotion, not memory, that prompts the failure.
It's reassuring, in a way.
That still doesn't mean Rinzler has any idea what to do with it. He's made to break things, not fix them. He's not permitted to speak. He has no right to his own feelings, and certainly no concept of how to cope with another's. They're the user: able to command, to control, to create and destroy with intent alone. But Frisk never was any good at that, when it came to his problems or their own.
Rinzler stares down. Looks up. They're off to the side of the more trafficked section of the gate, but still close enough to be observed; he shifts his grip to Frisk's shoulder and tugs carefully, putting his frame between them and the road. Fingers curl, his other hand hovering over the communicator, but he doesn't have the words, and he doesn't know what might help.
In the end, Rinzler waits, noise ticking out quietly. If they have more to say... maybe they'll say it.]
