dressed in black
Who: Daisy Johnson, Jesse Pinkman, Matt Murdock and YOU
When: November 27th
Where: Planet camp
What: Daisy wakes up from cryo
Warnings: Slight gore, brief nudity. Otherwise will update as necessary
For Jesse:
[To say Daisy woke up disorientated was an understatement. The searing pain in her arm, where she had broken it to the point that honestly she could lose use of it. Her shoulder also hurt a lot, as she had been shot by a member of the Watchdogs just minutes ago. Or at least it had been, but then she woke up here more confused than ever.
She remembered not remembering this place, until she was back here and all the memories came flooding back to her. They were still stuck on this planet. Stumbling out of the chamber, it became apparent pretty quickly that she was naked. In a panic, Daisy grabbed the first thing she saw that at least covered her partially. People were staring, which only made her want to get the hell out of there that much faster. She could feel the blood dripping down her bare back as she attempted to cover at least the important parts of her.
Talk about a hot mess.]
For Matt:
[Daisy hadn’t been back long, so things were still difficult for her considering she was thrown back into this. Like dealing with the crap she had been back home wasn’t bad enough. At least here she wasn’t a wanted criminal.
It was hard to keep her distance when so many other people were hurting, emotionally, from this wreck. Apparently she hadn’t been gone long, but she still did her best to stay out of peoples way. However, when she spotted someone she hadn’t seen in years walking in her direction, Daisy couldn’t help herself.]
Matt?
OTA:
[Daisy looks physically different. Her hair is darker and grown out slightly, and there’s a scar on her face that wasn’t there until coming back. She’s also keeping to herself a lot more. Still, if she sees someone in need of help, or asking for it, she will. A lot of her time is spent walking around, unable to keep still. Even if that’s exactly what her body needs right now in order to heal from the gun shot wound and her arm being in the state it’s in.]

[And it's quite an adjustment. Physically, he'd been thrashed by the monsters, the crash, and his unending efforts to help others get to safety, and while he's making a quick recovery, he's still slow on his feet.]
[His head snaps up instantly when he hears his name being called, and half-turns in her direction]
Yes? [But wait a second, that voice is familiar. That heartbeat is familiar. It'd be years, but he was almost sure it was--]
---Mary Sue? Is that you?
no subject
Yikes. Been a long time since anyone has called me that.
no subject
Well, it's been a long time since I last saw you. [A beat] So to speak.
[Had she changed her name? Was that even her real name to begin with?] Should I call you something else? I-- what are you doing here?
[The same thing he is, probably.]
no subject
It's- I go by Daisy now.
[Now's not the time to explain the whole thing with her parents and her actual name, she's okay with letting him assume she just chose it for herself.]
Same as you. Got sucked into here. When did you get here?
no subject
Alright, Daisy-- [It is kind an improvement, though he's got the basic tact not to say as much] I'm, uh, still Matt. But if you have any suggestions for a name, I'd be happy to take one.
[Aside from the Devil of Hell's Kitchen.]
Just now, actually. I'm even wondering if this is all just a hallucination. [There's a brief pause] What about you? Are you alright?
no subject
[Look. She's only had her name changed...technically four times. Since it went from Daisy, her given name, to Mary Sue Poots, to Skye and then back to Daisy.]
Wait. You arrived on this planet?
[Wasn't the whole thing tied to the Moria?]
I'm-
[Fine would be a lie, but she didn't need to put that on him either. Little did she know he could probably hear all the fractures in her arm.]
It's been a long couple of days.
[Months is more like it.]
no subject
No, no... I evacuated with everyone else. [Yeah, he can hear them. And he's listening more carefully now, focusing on her breathing and her heartbeat and anything else that might be amiss, brows creasing a little in concern, sympathetically.]
[Too bad there isn't anywhere to get a drink right now]
Yeah, I'm getting that feeling. What's been going on?
no subject
[Stepping closer to him Daisy thought about hugging him but decided against it.]
Are you okay?
no subject
Yeah, I'm fine. [He lies, like a lying liar] You?

Yori doesn't like announcing her status as a program, so there's only the faintest blue glow under her uniform to hint at it. She likes most of her unexpected crewmates, but it's hard to trust them completely. It's easier to work alongside them when they don't know they could rewrite her mind with a little effort.]
Excuse me? I could use a hand with these supplies, if you've got time.
[Maybe a better option for a damaged User than wandering around. If not, the offer won't hurt.]
no subject
Her one arm is in a cast, so that might put a damper on her ability to help, but:]
What's up?

I'm taking inventory of the food. We have a lot salvaged after the crash, which is nice, except that it's hard to tell how much should be thrown away, what needs to be used at once, or what can still be kept for later use.
[She gestures at a number of broken crates, plastic packaging exposed through the broken corners, some more battered than others.]
Do you mind? A second opinion would be helpful.
[Not least because Yori will feel better having someone meant to eat food look over these supplies. She's doing her best, but...it's all disgusting in her calculations. Energy is so much more efficient.]
no subject
[She's not sure why she's exactly needed for this. It was pretty simple to tell when food has gone off. Still, it gives Daisy something to do.
Looking at all the crates, Daisy opened one of them. Whatever it was, it wasn't distingushable now. Mostly because it had been so torn up on the journey here from the looks of it.]
Well, this should probably go. Do you have a trash can?
no subject
[Yori hears the note of doubt, and her smile is more grateful for the fact. They're all doing things they weren't designed for, today.]
If we stack the unsafe things on this pallet I can get rid of them all later.
[In consideration of the bound arm, Yori moves the crate herself. She's glad a lifter from the cargo bay survived the crash, because it's one of the few tools that make sense to her here. More things should float.]
Want to sit down? I don't mind carrying if you open.
[Yori might not be written for combat, but she doesn't tire quite like Users. And she's not damaged.]
no subject
You sure? They look pretty heavy.
no subject
Don't worry. If I had trouble lifting these, I'd have asked someone else to help too. It's just the rules of what's still useful food that I'm not clear on.
[Yori shrugs, uncomfortable and not willing to go into the full explanation.]
It wasn't a problem aboard ship till now.

Sorry, what did you say your name was?

And then, he realises, with searing relief, that it's Daisy as he scrambles to his feet. That relief is momentary: the state that she's in wipes away that relief as Jesse launches himself into a run towards her, weaving around crew members and leaping over people's belongings to reach her. Why is she naked? Why is she bleeding? Why does she look so different? Where the hell has she been?! ]
Daisy! [ Calling out to her urgently as he's approaching, wide-eyed with alarm and worry and confusion. ]
no subject
She doesn't actually say anything, but she stops hurrying off either.]
no subject
Daisy... [ He's breathing heavier from running. He looks her up and down with wild concern and confusion. He wants to grab her into a hug, so grateful that she's alive. His hands lightly grip her upper arms instead, as if to support her, as if to physically touch her because he needs to assure himself that it's actually her. ] Jesus... Daisy...
no subject
Which is why she tries to squirm out of his hold on her.]
Get tweezers.
[In other words: Hi Jesse.]
no subject
C'mon. C'mon, let's get you to the medbay tent.

Simmons is on her way.
[Simmons is not on her way. Not here anyway, she had lured her to an apartment in the hopes that she'd bite and come to help her, but that was not going to happen here.]

[C'mon, you don't know who Simmons is, Jesse? What's wrong with you?!
He better be holding onto the only thing keeping from exposing everything to everyone, because she's about to fall to the ground.]
