He's the first one arriving to meet Arbuckal, who is paying very close attention to a gun.]
You're a good shot?
[It's an interested inquiry.]

Realizing he was no longer alone, he gave the weapon one last going over, before he set the safety and returned it to it's holster. The weapon tucked neatly to the 4:30 position on his right hip.
He gave L a nod but otherwise did not seem inclined towards conversation. There were a lot of variables on his mind and too easy to sink back into considering them while they waited for others.
Hopefully it would not be a long wait. ]

[He didn't trust it, any of it. Others may take Ploiatos with a grain of salt, the ones that weren't here, but Niko had been here for it. He'd seen figures that otherwise would have been considered untouchable bend under the monster's touch, sapped of their energy. His own girlfriend still bore marks of creepy lightening, ones that had been shifting and drawing her in front of its cell.]
[The crew had been sparse at the time. Now there were over a hundred, and another of Ploiatos's ilk could start some real shit that he didn't want to see happen again.]
Okay, I got the thing. [He held it up between two fingers, his exploration card. Niko wasn't much for rewards. He hadn't asked for anything exceptional beyond these things. But his interest had been limited (to be honest, he'd kept these in the event something on the ship needed to be destroyed). Might as well help these guys have a look around (as he'd discussed with Adrien).]

Locked doors aren't always for keeping things out. ]
Not to break with my usual character, here, but I'm gonna recommend the buddy system.
[ The people assembled seem competent, as far as he's determined, but there's also no telling what the hell they'll find in there. ]

[The member of their group who's the newest arrival might also feel the most lost, jumping into this little expedition after just days aboard, but if they weren't otherwise occupied, Nate would tell him he's not alone. He might be more accustomed to life on the Moira, but there's no telling what will await them inside. This is uncharted territory.
In any case, he couldn't possibly go on a mysterious, possibly dangerous trip without his best pal. That'd be mean.]
Niko, go ahead.
[Both of the thieves are armed, and at least for now, Nate is keeping his gun drawn. Just in case.]

[It's a joke, but there's little humor in his tone as he checks the barrel of his gun again. Sully doesn't mind exploring unknown territories, but there's so much about this ship and being in space in general that he doesn't know about. Dealing with goons is one thing, dealing with potential aliens or whatever else might be through here is another.
Bullets checked, he keeps his gun at the ready, giving a quick nod to Niko.]
After you.

I don't know what you know of Ploiatos. But when he showed up, because he can attack when no one is watching him, it took a team of us to lead him into a room to lock him in. Thing is, he did shit to people with magic, with super strength, with big powers. If things like him want you, they will get you.
Always have someone at your back if you stop to look at anything. And don't assume that you're too good for it. What is too good for it? Is two sets of eyes. [He pointed from his to theirs, one by one, before he slid the card to let them in.]
[He hoped to god Ploiatos was going to turn out the only one, but after some crew encounters? He strongly suspected more had happened.]

Most of the others seem like they might be reasonably capable -- no one is a known liability, at least.
As Bellic moves to open the door, L's hand moves down to his gun, where he rests it and flicks the thumb guard.]
Or three. Do the rest of you know how to clear a room with a pistol? It's possible you won't need it in here, even if the worst happens, but if you do....
[He leaves the rest as an implication: it's always better not to walk around a corner blind in this kind of scenario.]
no subject
We've got some experience with that, yeah.
[The smile's gone as soon as Niko lets them in, though, and Nate is the first one through the door, pistol at the ready, eyes trained for anything that moves, that could be a threat. He's got control of himself, but if anything like that appears, it's more likely to be a shoot-first situation.]

There was contribution to be leveraged from all parties involved; even Mr. Cigar smoker. The hope would be the team would figure it out quickly.
They were smart people, it should work.
...
Hopefully. ]

[Said with his own smirk to Nate and a glance to anyone else who might catch his eye. He follows after Nate, staying close on his heels with his own gun drawn up and at the ready. He glances back briefly at the entrance and the rest of the group, partly to get a better look at everyone and partly to make sure that they were actually still there. The last thing they needed was this magic guy to set up some sort of trap or something to separate all of them.
Seeing that everyone is still in tact and no doors have been closed on them or anything, Sully turns back around and takes a few more steps inside.]
So this guy's been locked up in here all this time?
[Said in a whisper, just loud enough for those closest to him to hear.]
no subject
He hasn't been marked by the monster, but he knows others who were. Even Clark, who'd been strong enough to carry a whole car full of people and fly with it. They can't take any chances now.
It's hard not to send a frown in the direction of the guy in the giant metal suit. That isn't going to be quiet, but Snake figures that Niko would have invited everyone here for good reason.
Actually, Snake recognizes all of them, even if he's only spoken to a few of them once or twice. ]
He used to be a crew member. Something must have gone really wrong for them to lock him away like this.
[ And he imagines the idea here is to find out what. ]
no subject
[That he doesn't elaborate too much on at the moment. Instead, he lurks into the section, gun unslung and raised. A standard carbine rifle for his time period, something that might seem ill-advised except after the Cadacun attack, he's certain of the integrity of the walls and he's had a practiced aim for a good long time.]
[He gestures for someone else to advance by leap frog after he goes so far, stopping to look at a scuff on the ground. Probably old. The section is whirring to life, and little things like a couple of shoe prints (as if someone was scrambling) becomes more obvious. He glances pointedly up to Snake. They could alternate taking the lead.]
I got your back.
no subject
[Contagious and deadly, what a great combination. Nate's tone is remarkably casual, though, as if he's not bothered by the possibility, or has faith in his luck. Or maybe he's just not about to panic because that's the best way to send shit sideways.
The best option is to get in and out quickly, minimize risk. Laugh at their extreme caution over drinks later when it turns out to have been unnecessary. That'll probably happen.]
Okay. Which way?
no subject
I'm not getting any life signs yet, so pick your poison, fellas. We could play eeny, meeny, miny, moe.
[ Every option could very well suck, but Tony's doing himself - and everyone else who has to deal with him - a favor by not mulling over that potential disaster. For now, every doorway is an equal question mark, threat-wise. ]
no subject
He glances over his shoulder to where that imposing red-and-gold armor is standing. Life signs, huh? If he's got that kind of tech, it's a good thing he's come along. Then again, maybe the Ploitoas doesn't give off any kind of living signature.
Staying in a group certainly grants them safety, but it also makes them easier to find. Snake isn't going to suggest they split up, though, as he realizes he's not the person leading this op. He's basically around as an extra set of eyes and an extra gun. Speaking of which...
Snake pulls his SOCOM out of its holster. It's just a handgun, but it's a powerful one and he knows where to point it. ]
