Open - in your subconscious
Who: Pharah and open
When: October
Where: Aboard the Moira
What: Dreamscapes and Waking Nightmares
Warnings:
N/A will add as necessary
Dream walking
Do you sleep?
Do you dream?
If so, you might have a visitor tonight. On top of her physical changes, wherein she is now as blue add her armor and also accented in gold, Pharah has found herself the recipient of some very interesting powers; dream walking. But as someone who hasn't grown up with them, or had any amount of training with them, they're a little out of control. If she had her say, she would stay out of people's heads, but as it is she finds herself - night after night - stumbling into other dreams, other nightmares. Mostly, she just watches, unable to leave, but if she encounters some nightmares? She will try to nudge them back into something happier (even if it means forgetting what transpired that night).
Sleep walking
Because her nights are now spent wandering through the nether sphere of people's subconscious, Pharah's daytime has become something of a struggle. Especially after those nights where she's pushed influence on a dream, she is exhausted when she wakes up and likely to be found dozing anywhere on the ship. In the mess hall, on the observation deck, working out in the cargo bay; anywhere she might pause for a couple moments too shut her eyes she risks giving in to a quick nap.

Well, if you need me to get anything for you, let me know.
[She suspected her mother was a little more agile than she let on, considering she claimed to be a bounty hunter, but Pharah humored her in this. It would give them greater opportunities to just hang out like this.]

[Never give any advantages to Ana. Though she would probably not abuse it too much with her daughter, she would enjoy a laugh every now and then.]
Though, once we are in a more stable position, a drink or two of alcohol between us may be nice. That is, if you indulge at all. If you do, Reinhardt may wish to come along too.

[She chuckles, as this was an unexpected request, but it's not it if the question.]
I do, though not too often. I either make an exception for you. And Reinhardt is always welcome.

[It would certainly be a fun night. Even if Reinhardt was a super gentleman, he knew how to enjoy himself.]
no subject
[She smiles genuinely at her mother. Being able to reconnect with them like this was a gift, and she would never want to turn it down or take it for granted. They may be victims here, but at least they were together.]
no subject
[This would honestly be a first for her. Though with their time spent apart, it's not a surprise. Still, another thing she can enjoy with her child while she has the chance.]
no subject
[She wouldn't want to ruin an experience like this, and over-indulgence want her style any way. Still, it's a little teasing from her mother and she is grateful for it now.]
[But, there's one more bit of unpleasant information she's been avoiding. Fareeha doesn't want to talk about the moments she's met up with Reaper here, but she does want her mother to be prepared. Her expression goes sober as she looks at Ana, her tone soft and careful,]
Has anyone told you about Reyes yet?
no subject
[While she didn't feel that anything that happened to him was her fault, Ana did think that perhaps if things had been different, he would be in the state he's in today. The fact that she had always sided with Jack in the past probably caused tension that could have been avoided.]
Personally, I feel sorry for him but I do not condone the choices he has made. Right now, he works for my enemies so I must be careful around him but I would at least like to give him a chance.
[Old friendships die hard, just like old soldiers.]

[Part of her isn't surprised at her mother's response - they had worked so closely, for years even before Fareeha was born - but it does settle a knot of worry in her stomach. She gives her head a little shake.]
I don't think that's wise. There isn't anything of the old Reyes left behind.
[She wished she could convey his reaction to her mention of family, that unhinged laugh a disdain. It haunted her.]
no subject
[It was the silent implication that Jack isn't around. Which she would regret the moment that everyone found out that he was still alive but that was not now. Still, she had promises to keep.]
no subject
[For now, though, she trusts her and doesn't think anything of it. Instead, she's focused on Reaper, remembering the two instances they've met on this ship, and not wanting any of that hurt - either emotional or physical - for her mother. She takes in a deep breath and lets it out in sigh.]
I know, just ... please, be careful. [It's not that she doubted her mother's abilities, but knew first hand how unpredictable and ruthless this new form of Reyes could be.] I lost you once, I don't want to lose you again.
no subject
[Another hug it was. She had a lot of those to make up to her daughter.]
...if something does happen, I give you full rights to do what you need to the perpetrator. You know I would do the same.
no subject
[Fareeha hugs her back, holding on, feeling a little bit of desperation creep in. Maybe with help, but she already knows she's far outmatched against him one to one.]
I'll just have to hope it doesn't come to that.
