Oh God, yes, uh-- [Elizabeth looks at the book in her hands and chucks it unceremoniously back through the door.] Come on, it's this way. [She says, pointing down the hall.] Do you need help now? I have experience as a medic, we can call for a doctor over my MID.

No, I... [ She frowns, uncertain for a moment. ] I don't really want that many people to know where I am right now.
[ Which is probably not the sort of thing to admit when when is covered in blood. ]

Somehow you avoided the Ingress technicians, right? Seems like you're pretty good at sneaking around.

[ She doesn't know how much she should tell this woman, but then again, she doesn't know what anyone could gain from knowing about Yamatai and the Solarri ]
Until about half an hour ago, I was shipwrecked on an island in the Pacific full of insane and well armed cultists. I'm not feeling especially trusting at the moment.

[Elizabeth winces and looks down the corridor.] You're uh. You're pretty far from there now, trust me.

I had a hunch... There's nothing like this in my... [ Time? World? What was the appropriate term here. She hadn't a clue and pondering on it made her feel strangely overwhelmed. ]

I- all right. All right, I'll go with you.

[She starts walking towards the medical bay, straining to listen if Lara is following or not.]
no subject
All right..
[ She follows dutifully, though still with a pace or two separating them. ]

I'm Elizabeth DeWitt. Can I ask what your name is?

[ She follows Elizabeth down the halls, slowing only to glance around, trying to keep track of where they've been and where they're going. ]
This ship seems massive...

[ Lara doesn't sound terribly convinced though. She's not exactly in a state to judge whether her new companion is the sort to hallucinate or not. Speaking of.
Lara actually stops walking and looks around. ]
... We're in a garden.
[ Just. Confirming that this is reality and she hasn't passed out. ]

Watch your feet, though, some of the kittens from the tree might still be wandering around.

[ Less of a question. Maybe she's more concussed than she thought. ]

I think- Yes, that does sound like a good lesson to learn.
[ It's a bit much for her right at that moment, she takes a step just to be a little closer to Elizabeth, who is at the very least kind and makes sense. ]

[...of course now they have to go through the mess hall.]
The food here is really great-- I usually find something that's been made for the night that I like, and if not I can always make a sandwich and have it while I'm at the library desk.

Lara stalls hard right outside the door. It's a bigger, more open room than she's been in without immediately looking for cover. Just walking straight through is... ]
That's good.
[ She's failing rather spectacularly to hold up her end of the conversation, but she's very focused, falling behind Elizabeth as she skirts away from tables and keeps looking around, tense and uncertain. ]

Though if you want a drink, there's a bar as well.
no subject
Of course there's a bar.
[ It has a garden after all, why not a bar? ] What sort of food is served here?
