But that's an entirely different situation and it's honestly the last thing on his mind for once. The point being that some of his politeness is really just years and years of training applied in a different context.
It helps that there are other pairs on the dancefloor with them; it means that he doesn't have to be the center of attention.
Following the beat of the music and the movements of the people around them isn't particularly difficult. Snake isn't a natural, necessarily, but he also isn't making a complete fool of himself like he'd implied. If it ever comes up after the fact, though, he'll just claim that Angela had done all the work of making him look good.
