And, judging by the look in them, he hasn't quite figured out how to make his eyes look anything but harrowed.
Surprise at the other man's sudden arrival quickly fading, Adam remembers himself – it's almost a reflex, the nerve impulse that triggers the darkened lenses to deploy from the comma-shaped frames on either side of his face and shield his eyes once more. With them hidden from view, he suddenly appears that much more at ease and he finally turns to face Dorian completely.]
