( open ) let's dance
Who: the teen population of the Moira
When: at some point after arriving at the Luminous Sea, late afternoon/evening
Where: recreation area
What: a very 80's party thrown by Peter
takeitslow! Is your character currently a teenager? If yes, then assume they have somehow magically gotten an invitation and come party with us!
Warnings: none for the moment, will change if necessary

So maybe there's a lot of young people suddenly around the Moira. The best way to deal with it is obviously by throwing a party. Because adults are boring people who can't have fun and how can you not go wild at a party with a disco ball?
The rec area has been decorated just a bit for the occasion: there's a few tables with quick snacks, sweets and drinks, and 80's music playing from some strategically placed speakers. A good portion of the area is unimpeded so people can dance, and there are balloons of different colors a little bit all over.
The pool's decorated with tiny glitter confetti too, so it gives off a very glow-y vibe. Probably not a good idea to jump in but hey, you do you.
People are free to start up their own activities during the party, be it games like Spin the Bottle or Never Have I Ever, or something like attempting synchronized dancing. Seriously, go wild! (Not too wild, though. Just because there are no parents around doesn't mean you all should do whatever the hell you want.Yes it does.)
(Everyone feel free to put up specific starters for your characters, or for 'group' activities, go ahead and put up a top level so that everyone who wants to can jump in!)

[At the laugh Hawke just grinned.]
I have little to offer I'm afraid. Might have to do it just for the thrill of trying.

And in the end, J hardly cares about this woman's or her dog's origins. Especially when there's something better on the table.]
Get me a dress. Then I'll kiss you.
no subject
She doesn't have a dress. But there are certainly women around that do. So a hunting she shall go. And she begins by poking through various rooms, trying to find something that he challenger would like. People around here don't seem to want for much, so they wouldn't miss just one dress right? Marian herself doesn't know much about dresses and has little taste for them so she tries to imagine what her sister Bethany would like if she could wear one of these dresses. It would be pretty and yet practical.
45 minutes later she returns to the party and drops a dress into J's hands. This dress will not be described for the potential of future CR stuff if someone wants it to be their dress but rest assured, it is NICE dress.]
There. I hope that's up to your standards.

When Hawke finally returns back to the party the drinking game is already over and the circle has been split. J can be found sitting next to the pool with a drink laid next to her. She's absent mindedly poking the confetti on the water with her hand when dress is dropped on her.]
Huh--- oh you. Here I thought you chickened out.
no subject
[She drops down next to J at the edge of the pool, crossing her legs underneath her. Kitty follows and drops down next to her, his eyes following the confetti in the pool.]
I don't really know much about this kinda stuff so I just grabbed one that looked nice.

[She sneers while examining the dress on her lap. It's really nice and pretty one she has to admit. It doesn't come to her as a surprise that the other girl doesn't have an eye for these things, considering her messy appearance and lack of manners, but it does make her wonder where did she get the dress.]
I hope that you left the girl you robbed conscious and with some clothes?

[Marian makes a shocked face and turns to look out the door of the recreation center. Then she turns back to J with a grin.]
I think the closet will be alright without this one.
no subject
[She jokes, grinning right back at her. Even though she doesn't quite show it, she appreciates the dresses. It might not be what she'd usually wear but it's better than nothing.]
I guess you won this round.
no subject
[Marian gives her a wink and then her grin widens and she puts her hands on her hips.]
Oh, so we're doing rounds now.
no subject
You gave me dare first and now I gave you one.
no subject
[She raises her eyebrows and gives J a sideways grin. She knows J doesn't wanna kiss her so she's going to play it up as much as possible.]
no subject
Though that's not going to mean she's giving it her that easily.
J shifts a little, bending one knee and wrapping her arm around it to bring it to closer to her chest as she slightly leans in closer. Her smile turns more teasing]
Why, stealing a dress wasn't enough excitement for you?
no subject
[It's a nice way to put her situation. Honestly, kissing someone is probably the most normal thing she's done in the past six months.]
no subject
[She snorts, teasing the other girl -- still having mixed up feelings about what to think of her.]
So what it is that a ruffian like you does then? Other than start troubles?
no subject
Exploring the wilds, gathering food, whipping up trouble, narrowly escaping templars. Welcome to the life of an apostate.
no subject
Apostate of what exactly? Other than personal hygiene?
no subject
Apostates are mages that live outside the Circle of Magi. We're not apostates of anything we're just... us.

You're serious about all this?
no subject
[She shrugs. The sneer doesn't bother her. It's better than a look of fear or even rage.]

no subject
There's too many other poor and starving people around Lothering for that to work. And saying your a mage is just going to get you arrested.
SORRY FOR ANCIENT TAG
[She mocks, voice sweet and pretending. Not something she'd usually say to girl -- but really, looking like the way she does? Everything can be expected.
Quite rich of her, who just traded a kiss for a dress, accuse the other girl for prostitution. ]
As for your mage-stuff? Yeah, no. That's just asking for trouble.
