Who: the teen population of the Moira
When: at some point after arriving at the Luminous Sea, late afternoon/evening
Where: recreation area
What: a very 80's party thrown by Peter takeitslow! Is your character currently a teenager? If yes, then assume they have somehow magically gotten an invitation and come party with us!
Warnings: none for the moment, will change if necessary




So maybe there's a lot of young people suddenly around the Moira. The best way to deal with it is obviously by throwing a party. Because adults are boring people who can't have fun and how can you not go wild at a party with a disco ball?

The rec area has been decorated just a bit for the occasion: there's a few tables with quick snacks, sweets and drinks, and 80's music playing from some strategically placed speakers. A good portion of the area is unimpeded so people can dance, and there are balloons of different colors a little bit all over.

The pool's decorated with tiny glitter confetti too, so it gives off a very glow-y vibe. Probably not a good idea to jump in but hey, you do you.

People are free to start up their own activities during the party, be it games like Spin the Bottle or Never Have I Ever, or something like attempting synchronized dancing. Seriously, go wild! (Not too wild, though. Just because there are no parents around doesn't mean you all should do whatever the hell you want. Yes it does.)


(Everyone feel free to put up specific starters for your characters, or for 'group' activities, go ahead and put up a top level so that everyone who wants to can jump in!)

[ Liquid courage is definitely the way to go, especially with games like this, and also if this isn't normally a person's speed. This kind of thing is usually cruising along at impulse for him. And big hurrah's before college, and Starfleet Academy are Jim's specialty. He can't count the times he's run into someone about to ship off who wanted an adventure for the road.

Most people seem a little on the shy side, and that's ok. He's not sure if she is and just putting up a front, or if she's just determined. He can admire both. He leans in a little, but doesn't close the distance. ]

If you don't, I won't hold it against you.

[ And that's all she's gonna let slip out before she makes the final decision and closes the gap, her lips pressing to his. There's a definite hint on fruit on hers from the drink, something easier to deal with than lipstick. Her hand moves to rest on his shoulder as her thumb brushes his collarbone.

If she's gonna do this, she's not gonna half-ass the kiss. Full experience for everyone's pleasure. ]

[ Jim chuckles as he says it, but swallows it down before she closes the distance between them. He leans in to meet her partly, tasting a bit of the fruitiness of the drinks they've all been having (his spiked a little thanks to a gracious Skye), and lifts a hand up to cup the side of her face.

He's all for a well-rounded experience and diving right in. ]

[ He may swallow his chuckle, but she doesn't stop a soft hum - letting it vibrate against his lips. If there was one thing she was really good at, it was surrendering to the moment and going with the flow. Sure, when she grows up she be a little less like this? But in all honestly, not really.

Letting her fingers curl a little into the fabric of his shirt, she gives him the option to deepen the kiss or pull away... Like some weird version of spin the bottle chicken. When she decided to commit to this, she wasn't going to half-ass it. Sorrynotsorry, dude. ]

[ For a game of spin the bottle, this kiss was sure something else. He didn't expect it from most, but he was glad to get pleasantly surprised. It was easy to go along with once he realized how far she was willing to take things, or at least let them go kiss-wise.

So as far as it goes for pulling away? Nah, not gonna happen yet. If anyone is chickening out, it isn't him yet. So that's definitely the option to deepen the kiss being taken, thumb brushing her cheek as he continues to, and licks teasingly at her lower lip before returning to just kissing.

Maybe they should settle for splitting the check if the dinner option comes up. ]
