[open] do you want to...?
Who:a Wanda Maximoff & you!
When: December 13, evening
Where: The mess hall
What: It seemed such a shame to let all that snow go to waste...
Warnings: Probable silliness and general shenanigans. Maybe watch for snowballs?
There was really only so much one could do to clean the mess hall at this point. There was snow in here, of all things, to say nothing about the underlying layer of ice.
And still the captains had done nothing about the mess.
There's a grumpy-looking pile of blankets sitting on a table while she waits for coffee to brew. Wanda doesn't even want coffee but it's the fastest way to start feeling vaguely more like a human and less like a popsicle. It's strange - she's always loved playing in the snow but right now she's too cold and tired to really move from that spot without better motivation.
But that does give her an idea, or at least a challenge. Can she telekinetically build a snowman, even a small one? She gestures, pushes a pile of snow together successfully - and then the blankets just slide off her shoulders. None of the Moira's crew can catch a break, it seems.
Find Wanda fussing with the blankets or trying again. She's struggling but this (maybe a bit lopsided) snowman is happening.

Someone apparently trying to telekinetically build a snowman in the snow that was still all over, however, was nowhere what he expected. And yet, there was Wanda doing just that. It was surprisingly enthralling, seeing the snow raise from the floor and piling on its own. After a moment, he finally went up to Wanda. "Thought you might as well make something out of the snow?"

"I could wait for the coffee and remember how cold I am. Or I can try to make a snowman while it finishes." She grins, though it's probably pretty obvious she could use a full night's sleep. "It seemed like a better idea."

"So, you said try. First time making a snowman with telekinesis?"

She shudders, the movement translating to the snowball and turning it into more of an egg shape. Oops. "I have never had a chance to try this before." There was precious little opportunity to play with her powers under Strucker's tutelage and experimenting with flight is as far as she's gotten since.

He tilts his head at the snowball becoming more egg shaped. It really was weirdly fascinating to see snow moving in the air on its own. "Snow's not easy to move like that, I take it?"

Faint threads of red light still surrounds the snow-thing, trying to compress it more evenly. "It is not like that piece of the building. It was solid. Snow is...different. And if you don't support it, it falls apart. Normally I can focus on one point." As if in demonstration, the smaller point of the egg slips off to plop to the floor. "But for this, you have to see the whole."

He does notice the red light. It makes the whole thing even more interesting, really. He's tempted to ask more about her powers, but he's not sure that'd be a conversation Wanda would be willing to go into. Still, he does decide to broach the topic somewhat. "It looks like it could be a good way to practice precision, if nothing else."

"Do you want some? There is enough for both of us."
