When: 11/18 to 11/20ish
Where: Planet and ship
What: Main event for November; all info inside
Warnings: Character death, violence
At the beginning of the month, the crew disembarked the Moira to gather supplies on Caducus Primary. The natives were friendly and accommodating, though strict in what they did or didn't allow, and everything was going as planned. On the twelfth, the crew received a half-veiled threat to leave the planet. The representative reiterated that the crew had four days to finish up and leave. They made no further contact and didn't pressure the Moirans to leave; all seemed well.
By the 18th, two days after the deadline, the natives will abruptly begin to force any lingering crew off the planet. The time has passed, and they waited longer, but feel as if their goodwill is being abused. Any and all crew members still on planet will be roughly seized and extraction will be attempted. If you fight back, they will attempt to subdue you, and if you go willingly, they will be no less rough.

THE GLASS SHATTERS (Nov. 18th - Nov. 20th)
Due to a bit of bad luck, and a whole lot of aggressive handling, crew member Bruce Banner will be triggered. The Hulk, unfortunately, is now causing enough damage and force that the fragile and brittle buildings and sculptures are breaking. The buildings begin to sway and bow, glass pieces the size of cars and houses raining down on civilians and crew members as they crack and give way.
In the chaos and panic, the on-planet Ingress is damaged, resulting in a wave of energy strong enough to penetrate the planet's core. The brittle planet, much like the glass that adorns it, starts to crack open and the natives issue a planet-wide evacuation. Within 48 hours, all crew standing anywhere on the Moira with a view of the planet will bear witness as it splinters open, and then folds into itself. The only survivors are those that made it onto the Moira, a transporter, or one of Caducus Primary's many evacuation shuttles.
For this event, characters may choose to do any number of things. There will be the following opportunities: help Clark Kent try to stop the Hulk, create safe areas for civilians to get out of the way of falling glass, coordinate rescue and evacuation efforts, and build a cage in the cargo hold of the Moira that will be used to hold the Hulk until he cools down.

☄SAFE ZONES
At the onset of the event, natives of Caducus Primary, as well as the crew of the Moira, will attempt to create safe zones. These can be areas of the city, or any surrounding places, that groups of people are ushered to in order to protect them from the Hulk and falling glass. The crew is encouraged to help all men, women, and children get to safety--one of the captains will be there. These safe zones will also have triage set-up, as many people have been injured. The medbay is available for use.
☄RESCUE AND EVACUATION
A rescue and evacuation effort. The safe zones are no longer a viable option as the on-planet Ingress has become unstable and the planet has begun to crack open. The natives have ordered a planet-wide evacuation and shuttles are landing to pick people up. The Moira's transporters are available for manual use, and the captains are telling the crew to immediately board the ship.
☄CAGE BUILDING
In the cargo hold, a cage will be built. The design and creation is left entirely to the crew members with one thing to bear in mind: it has to be strong enough to hold the Hulk while he cools down, but other than that, they are given free reign to build it any way that they choose.
☄THE AFTERMATH
Anywhere on the ship that has a view of planet will offer crew members a terrible and stunning sight. On the end of the second day, the planet will splinter open and then fold into itself. The natives' evacuation shuttles will be visible in the space around where the planet once was, though all ships have given it a wide berth, and ships from Caducus Secondary will arrive in time to witness the event and to pick up the survivors. The Moira wastes no time in leaving.

Wanda Maximoff | OTA
[Wanda got here as fast as she could, practically sprinting from the Moira. She knows what they're up against better than most people on the ship, and this is already worse than what she saw of Johannesburg. Johannesburg was not almost entirely made of glass, after all.
She stands at the perimeter, ready and waiting for the inevitable incoming debris.]
This won't be enough. [It's not directed at anyone in particular, but it needs to be said. This world is completely outclassed.]
II. Rescue and Evacuation
Go! Get to the ships!
[She has just enough time to drop a shield of red energy before a slab of thick glass slides from the ruins of a tower and comes crashing down. The civilians don't need telling twice and are already taking off running before Wanda can look back. Which is good, because she's in a bit of a rough spot here. Might be easiest to just get out from under the debris and then try to gently set it down. Wanda starts backing away.]
You too. I can't hold this.
III. Aftermath
[Wanda doesn't have the emotional capacity to cry at this point, though she certainly understands how the people of C-Primary must be feeling right now. She touches the glass pendant she's wearing, wonders if the jeweler survived.
The worst part is that this was entirely preventable. They seemed like a peaceful enough lot, until crossed, and if they'd only left sooner, if everyone had stayed on the ship, if the natives didn't believe in collective punishment...
If, if, if. That line of thinking leads to dark places, and Wanda knows it. But it's impossible not to go there after seeing something so horrific.]
II. Rescue and Evacuation
Nevermind holding it, can you keep it up long enough to get out from under it?
[He's backing away along her; at the very least, he thinks he could grab her and get the two out of there fast enough.]
no subject
[Her hands are starting to shake with the effort of holding this piece of the building up. Stopping a moving train had taken effort, yes, but it had been over over quickly. Wanda's never had significant practice with holding something this massive for a sustained period of time.
She could twist and implode it, but the glass might react unpredictably. Nothing to do for it now but quicken her retreat, not that she can move faster than a regular walk while maintaining what control she has.]
Go!
no subject
And for once, he doesn't try to simmer it down right away.]
Look... I'm a lot stronger and faster than a normal human being. [Arguments on whether or not he still counted as human can be saved for later.] Even if I picked you up and ran for it, I should still be fast enough to get away from that thing in time. So I'm asking again, can you hold it until you're away from that thing? Because if not, you're stuck with me.
no subject
If you are going to do something, you should do it now.
no subject
In the end, he was right, though. He does make it out of there in time, although maybe cutting it a little close. They're safe, though, is the ultimate conclusion.]
Shit... [Is the first thing he says as he puts her down. That was quite a bang.]
no subject
...that was much, much closer to being a pancake than Wanda ever wants to be. Her motions are very mechanical when Tyler sets her down. 'Shit' indeed.]
Are you all right?
no subject
My ears will be ringing for a while, but I'm fine. You?
no subject
I will be all right. [This 'almost dying' thing is still taking some getting used to.]
How did you do that?
no subject
What, catching you and getting out of there? Told you, I'm faster than normal humans. Just had to run like hell. [He's still a hell of a slowpoke compared to her brother, not that he'd know, but faster much normal humans nonetheless.] If you mean how I got this way, that's something that's best explained later. Could take us a while.
no subject
But she catches herself before she ends up talking to the air. It's so reflexive it's like a hard to kick bad habit.]
We have probably been here too long already. These buildings won't stand much longer. [She squints; it's hard to make the damage out with the way the sun is hitting the buildings but she's pretty sure this area won't be safe for long.] Can you walk?
no subject
[He looks around them, also squinting to try and get a better look.] So where to? One of the safe zones for now?
