The Ingress has pulled you in. Your body experiences several sensations at once: being pushed forward as if a hand is resting on your back, momentary and startling blindness, a gentle ringing in your head. You have difficulty discerning whether it is hot or cold, but where you have been prodded is noticeably warmer than the rest of you. Some may suffer from dizziness while others are perfectly fine. Once equilibrium has been reestablished, you will notice you are standing on a long platform and that the room is filled with a soft cerulean light. It's slightly humid and dark despite the glow around you, and various machines line the walls on either side, though they are not accessible from where you stand. Shortly after, you are led out and toward the medbay.
Inside this room, you are given a physical scan and sign a contract that states you are now part of the crew of the Moira with a specific job. This process consists of a complete work-up of medical history and current health, and afterwards, you are given your MID, a device that is integrated into your hand with only the slightest pinch. From there, you are guided out of the medbay and to your living quarters.
MERO DECK ● NOMO DECK ● MORO DECK
☄Crew members exposed to Exuo will notice that effects are slowly beginning to taper off. However, most will still continue to feel some agitation over the smallest things. Perhaps a visit to the UV beds will lighten that mood of yours.

☄MINI RECEPTION
Orders have been sent down to the kitchen to prepare something small but fulfilling for the entirety of the crew as a way to thank them for their hard work gathering supplies and returning to the Moira mostly unscathed. The mess hall has been decorated—kind of. There are small, tidy bows stuck to the backs of chairs and “party favors” spread out across the tables. These favors make a room smell sweet but are otherwise harmless. As a gift from Thán, he has provided the crew with a treat of sorts in addition to the foods the kitchen has prepared. All crew scheduled for morning shifts in the kitchen will have helped with these preparations. As a note, there is also a soft, unfamiliar melody coming from an old radio on one of the tables. The captains encourage everyone to relax, have fun, and get to know one another better.
Other areas of the ship are also open to exploration! Privileges for crew ranked Tiruncula** are as follows: (1) shift in kitchen and/or mess hall duties can be skipped each week without repercussions.

Starflight (Will match format)
Starflight did not take his sudden displacement well. For a good while he was almost certain it was just a really bizarre nightmare. How else was he supposed to explain the talking humans prodding him and examining him. Starflight was so disoriented he could barely pay attention to the contract or all the stuff this human was saying to him. This talking human. How were the humans talking?
When they strapped some sort of metal bracelet thing to the back of his talons, feeling the pinch through his scales, any final hope that this was not happening faded quickly. This did not make things easier to take in and was not reassuring in the least.
Starflight was very surprised that he wasn't locked into his assigned room when he was finally taken there. He'd been captured enough times to know this was unusual. He didn't want to stay in the hallway though, so he cautiously entered the room, looking around with notable confusion.
He left the door wide open (in case he needed to get out quickly, who knew if there was anything dangerous in here), so anyone wandering by would see the dragon poking around the room, experimentally nudging the hanging beds or carefully examining a dresser.
II. RECEPTION
A reception. A party. It's not that bad, right?
Sitting in the darkest corner he could find, tail wrapped over his claws, Starflight was still having trouble believing it. Dealing with one or two humans was one thing, but an entire room of them was another thing entirely. As much as he tried to convince himself that these ones wouldn't attack him, shouldn't attack him, it was hard not to think about what it felt like to have one on his back, ready to kill him.
He desperately wished his friends were here. If they were here, they would probably be pretty disappointed in him. He could just imagine Tsunami's exasperated tone Really, Starflight? They're just humans. They don't even have weapons. What are they going to do?
He'd slunk in to the room as stealthily as he could, which was not nearly as stealthy as he would like because all the rooms were so annoyingly small. Starflight made no effort to interact with anyone before taking up his position against the wall. It would be easy to mistake him for a very detailed statue with how still he was sitting. Unless you had seen the black dragon slink in, or caught his gaze as he tried to track everything happening in the room.
Reception
Finally, unable to contain his curiosity, he moved in for a closer look.
no subject
"Is there something I can help you with?" Starflight asked hesitantly, as if he was still disbelieving that he might get an understandable answer.
no subject
"I'm sorry- I've just... never quite seen anything like you before," he replied politely. "Except in art..."
no subject
"Sorry, it's just, where I'm from, humans aren't considered very..um..." smart? capable? advanced? "...sophisticated. That is probably not the case where you are from though." He said, trying to smooth over the unintended indirect insult. He shifted uncomfortably, trying to change the subject.
"You know what dragons are though?"
no subject
"I'm actually fascinated to hear that," he admitted. "I guess... it didn't occcur to me until just now that not everyone came from the same place." He then nodded. "But they are mythological creatures to me. Entirely fiction."
no subject
"Is it normal where you're from? Or are you from, um, wherever the Moira is from, I guess? Here?" It would make sense if someone other than the captains were, but Starflight hadn't really gotten that impression so far.

Starflight couldn't help being impressed. There weren't many dragons who were skilled in healing besides the basics. That kind of altruism wasn't exactly common. He was starting to feel pretty inadequate with how unprepared he was compared to all these humans.

Stopping a short distance away, Tron held his hands out, palm-up, showing that he wasn't armed and had no intention of attacking. "Greetings," he said. "Are you one of the new arrivals?"
no subject
He nodded, shoulders haunched so he was almost hiding behind his wings, and mumbled something that basically amounted to "Yes."
no subject
Pausing a safe distance away, he inclined his head in greeting, fairly certain that a handshake would be out of the question in this case. "I am Tron."
no subject
He looked down at his claws sadly, curling his tail around him even more tightly. Starflight had been holding out some hope that he wasn't the only dragon who had wound up here, that maybe they just hadn't come to the party or something.
Somehow he managed to feel even more lonely than he was before. He sighed dismally, glancing back at Tron.
"I'm Starflight."
no subject
Tron knew the feeling of being alone on this ship... he hadn't met any other artificial beings yet, and there were only a few people here who knew what he actually was. Not that he particularly felt he had to hide it, but he also did not feel the need to divulge his origins to everyone.
no subject
"'Designation'? I'm not sure I understand what you mean. Dragon would be my species. And yes, of course there are plenty of dragons, or I wouldn't be as surprised that there weren't any here. Maybe more will show up later." If not everyone had been brought here at the same time, there was a chance others would turn up.
"Although...I don't really think they want dragons here. Most of them wouldn't fit anyway, not to mention having all the humans around might be....a problem."
no subject
Folding his arms, he glanced around thoughtfully, noticing that most of the glances toward Starflight were curious, perhaps a little fearful, but not hostile. "Why would humans be a problem? Are they your enemy?"
no subject
"Less 'enemy' and more 'exotic snack.' Most dragons I know would want to try eating a human just to see what they taste like, and a human isn't exactly a threat to a full grown dragon." He lifted his front talons, turning them so his sharp claws were clearly visible, as if to demonstrate his point.
"I imagine some would change their minds after getting the translators, but it's not something I would count on."

She was only a couple of metres away from it when suddenly a pair of bright eyes flickered in her direction - and she jumped violently, nearly staggering backwards.
"Keelah--" The word burst out before she could stifle herself, and though her face is hidden behind a mask, the glowing eyes behind it are wide in almost comic alarm.
no subject
"Sorry, sorry. I didn't mean to scare you," he hastily apologized, backing up a few more steps to give her more space.
no subject
"No, no!" She couldn't help finding it a little funny, even as she held her palms out in something of a peaceable gesture. Funny and embarrassing. "It's fine, it's not your fault, I just didn't expect..." ...him to move. At all. Maybe best not to actually say that, though.
"Maybe I shouldn't have been staring in the first place."
no subject
"I hope you don't mind me asking but...you're not human are you?"
leaves the country for several days, sorry for delay!!
She'd seen a few different species, especially by now - although when you've spent your whole life used to the same galactic community of mostly humanoid people, you still get a little blind-sided by anything (or anyone) unexpected.
"No, I'm not." She sounded perfectly amiable about it - most of the ship was human, most of the people she interacted with were human. Maybe some time ago, she'd have been a bit more snippy about it, but now? Even she wasn't used to non-humans. "I'm a quarian - my name's Tali."
She wondered for a split second if she should shake hands...then wondered why two non-humans would bother doing such a thing. "And you are...?"
no subject
"I'm Starflight, a dragon from Pyrrhia. It's nice to meet you, Tali. I'm really glad to hear that I'm not the only one of the ship who isn't human." He admitted, looking over her head at rest of the crowd.
"Though I do wish there were more dragons here." What he wouldn't give to have even one of his friends here.
no subject
"Actually, I haven't met another quarian for a long time now." There's a little melancholy tint to her voice...but really, all things considered, she's a little relieved too. "If it helps any, you do get used to it."
Pause, and she shrugs a little helplessly. "Sort of. There are good people here. That helps."
no subject
"Thanks, that's good to hear."
And it was, really. Better to surrounded by nice people for a change, even if they were so different.
"Have you been here a long time?"
