Where: X-Mansion (residence 15 of region 5 on Kauto)
What: Month-long mingle, let everyone settle and get comfortable, claim rooms, train, whatever
Warnings: None?

With the mansion built and paid for, all there was really left to do was find students, some of whom were already students at the school on Earth, and furnish what they could. It would likely have to come from their own pockets, furnishings for their rooms, food. At least for a little while. Settling on Kauto, there were surely rules and organizations to him to familiarize himself with yet. Some that might provide funding, especially once he started accepting Savrii students.

They'll manage for now at least. And he was sure he could find some use for his own abilities to earn money while here. Legally.

[Logan isn't really expecting a floating pillow when he turns the corner of the hallway to enter the living room, and his face collides right into it. There's a strong word escaping his lips, luckily muffled by the pillow and the man reaches for it, pulling it down. He sees Wanda in the room as well and raises an eyebrow slowly:]

Nice trick. Yours?

[The telekinetics and telepaths are soon to outnumber the rest of them it seems.]

[Well, Wanda wasn't expecting someone's head to be right there either, so they're both startled. The other things she's rearranging waver for a moment, but aside from the pillow Logan's taken nothing actually drops.]

Yours if you want it. I bought enough for the ship, but too many for here.

[There's a dismissive, grunt coming from Logan as he shrugs: clearly being hit by a pillow isn't something that's going to hurt him much. And for sure, it won't leave a mark.

Looking down at the pillow in his heads, he tilts his head slowly]

Thanks, but no thanks. Purple flowers ain't really my style, [Logan says as he holds the pillow up to his face, as if to make a point that the color isn't complimenting his skin tone.]

So. Telekinesis?

[It's a statement more than a question, but mostly a chance for her to talk about her powers, if she wants to.]

[Inadvertently smacking someone in the face with a pillow still isn't the best way to meet them in person. She's in control, darn it.]

It would have been good for spring, if they have spring here. [Wanda holds her hands out for the pillow despite her powers - it seems rude to snatch it out of Logan's hands just because she can.]

Do you know Jean or Charles? It's a little like that.

[It's okay Wanda, Logan doesn't hold a grudge for things like that. You should ask about all the shit he's put up with the kids back home. A pillow is nothing, trust him.

Logan gives her back the pillow, an eyebrow raising slowly:]

I'll have to believe you on that. [Because what is fashion?

Logan nods:]

Yeah, I know them. We're from the same world, just not the same time. The Charles and Jean I know are a bit older than the ones here. But they're still really the same.

So you can read minds too?

Among other things. It's hard to explain.

[She lets a small, harmless-for-now wisp of scarlet twine around her fingers. Fortunately everyone here seems much more accepting of her abilities than the general populace at home even if they don't fully understand them either. Based on Charles's reaction, the scarlet probably isn't a common thing in their world.

Wanda manages a small, quick smile.]

But I try to stay in my own head unless there's a reason.
