When the offer to sit was declined but instead returned, Alexander lowered himself casually back to his seat without a single air that he was put out by it. He instead folded one knee over the other, resting his hands on them as he watched Tony standing over him. His ego wasn't so easily damaged by a difference in height after all, and if there was something so fragile in Stark, he had no issue allowing it to come to pass. He simply continued to smile.
"Actually, it's quite exciting learning a completely new system," he replied, energy and pleasure warming his voice. It also crinkled the lines at the corner of his eyes. "One must always be willing to learn or face falling behind on the times. Besides, being at the bottom gives one a wonderful view of where they need to climb. A challenge, Mr. Stark, is worth every ounce of effort."
He kept his loose posture, intent and respectful and yet leaving nothing of vulnerability of himself. "They are putting that brilliant mind of yours to work, are they?"
