Peter crouches down and rests his elbows on his knees, still poking at the mess. He turns his head just enough to watch Sans from the corner of his eye, examining the skeleton for any sign of harm. He was speaking, so it wasn't the same as J. But he couldn't be so sure nothing had changed from just that.
"Better, if you want honesty." He wasn't about to start talking about last month and the outpost, but Peter had told the man once he wouldn't lie to him. He was going to keep that promise. "But I'm back, and still kicking."
He smiles suddenly, turning to Sans head on. "I missed you, dude. If you want sap."
