[Arrival is a mediocre roller coaster ride of blue light and stale wind. It was hardly the most exhilarating experience, but stepping out onto a platform on a space ship, that, at least, would prove interesting. To realize a few steps later that very recently he'd died, sends a thrill through him unlike anything he's ever experienced before. Somehow he's cheated death. Triumphed over failure and come out on the other side successful.
He's quickly ushered to Medbay, dressed in a standard uniform, scanned and signs a contract, examines the MID. There are people on the directory whose name's he recognizes. He'll need allies if he wants to remain on the ship. So he plans.]
one. mero deck:
[The bathing area on this deck is grander than the other two, but offers hardly any privacy. Fortunately, Killian is looking to make acquaintances, so privacy isn't what he needs. Quite nude, but the water hot enough that steam curls up and covers him, he rests his arms on either side of the tub and waits for someone else to enter.]
Hello.
[He tips his head back, glancing over his shoulder with a smile.]
I'd say this is nothing fancy, but it'd be dishonest of me. [He laughs softly, amused.] Who knew that a vessel like this would have such a hidden gem.
[As the person comes closer, they'll see the dark dragon tattoos across his shoulders and chest.]
Join me, if you'd like.
two. nomo deck:
[Waiting for his roommates seemed the appropriate thing to do. He'd be sleeping and living in closed quarters with three other people, sharing a bunk bed with one of them. Killian knows that having a good introduction will do him well.]
Aldrich Killian, it's a pleasure to meet you.
[He extends a hand, offering a lopsided grin.]
And who might you be?
three. moro deck:
[With all the cleaning that's going on, Killian's walk through each deck proves to be eye opening. Doors are propped wide as crew enter and exit, and it makes it a lot easier for him to meet people this way. Leaning up against a door frame, he gestures towards the room vaguely.]
Why are the beds strung up that way?
[Strange, but maybe there's a reason for it.]
I don't mean to interrupt, but I couldn't help myself. I'm Aldrich.
