No, he cannot do that, but he can absolutely reach out for the man standing just within his personal bubble as an impromptu cushion in the off chance that he can't find anything to brace his weight against. The reasoning here is pure soldier instinct: if an enemy gets you down, you better have taken the enemy down with you so you don't get shot in the head when your ass is on grass.
Whether or not he swings and misses is entirely up to Tony's reflexes, but if those bionic fingers find the seams of Mr. Stark's uniform, you bet he's going to be dragged under.
