The Ingress shut off and emergency systems kicked in. It came back online, but has been malfunctioning. There was an incident where this ship fused with an enemy ship and several other components abruptly became made out of glass, including crew members' body parts. The effects have mostly disappeared, but we hopped unintentionally into this universe before this recent shutdown. Perhaps the system is sputtering before it's completely destroyed.

If that's the case, we will lose our ability to return to our home dimensions, if I understand things properly. This is distressing news, if it proves to be true, but I do not believe the Ingress to be absolutely beyond repair just yet given the intellectual powerhouses we currently have aboard the ship. They aren't as amazingly genius as Dr. Kuseno, of course, but some come rather close and as such I believe that an alternative hope can be found if the Ingress truly is utterly destroyed beyond repair. And even if it is destroyed and we must limp along this universe for a time, we will be ultimately safe because Saitama-sensei is here and he can protect us. I am also not lacking in fighting abilities, but Sensei is the strongest. Even across multiple universes, he has found no one and nothing even coming close to a match, which I imagine is likely very disheartening for him, however I still take comfort and solace in the fact that he is truly unmatched in every way--
