[He's never been terribly good at comforting anyone. He can manage sympathy, when he finds a way to correlate his own experiences with someone else's, but empathy has never been his strong point. And what Billy went through... Loki has very few analogues. He's felt humiliated before, but never the way Billy seems to feel. The kind of casual sexual degradation of being for sale- that, he's never had to deal with, not even in their shared hell.
But he can tell Billy is trying, at least, not to let it pull him down completely. And that, Loki can appreciate, having seen him in far less responsive states. And he owes him, still, for the argument they'd had not that long ago.
So he settles on the bed next to Billy, reaching almost automatically for his wrist, a familiar gesture he hopes the slavers haven't ruined for him. Steeling himself for a conversation he'll almost certainly not like all that much, he still tries to smile.]
Hello, Billy. Would you like to make a little room for me?
[A question, not a demand, despite the fact Loki isn't good at requesting anything. But Billy at least needs to feel like he has a choice here, Loki thinks.]
