"You were given a kill order?" Peter can barely imagine it. The only time he'd come close to the idea of killing had been with Rinzler and even then, even telling himself Rinzler was just a machine, he couldn't do it. Even the Sentinels and all his anger at Erik, he doubts he could. Privately, Peter's glad he was asleep for that part of the plan so he'll never have to know what he was capable of.

"We couldn't have let them destroy us. I know what happened was really shitty for them, but a lot of us weren't here for that. I mean, I wasn't. I heard about the whole exploding a planet way after. I think I would have been pretty pissed if I was killed for something I didn't do." He remembers the situation with the guards, back home. Fighting back was the only way to keep the people he could only loosely call friends from getting killed. And the only way to keep those friends from killing the guards. "What happened? Did we kill them off? Find some way to knock them out and dump them planet side?"
