"Right," he nodded. "It's not my most flattering look, I know."

Because humor's his coping mechanism, even when it doesn't help, even when it doesn't make him feel any better about his situation. But it's better than getting angry or sad or frustrated, or at least better than showing that he's feeling all those things at once.

"I see. That's— that's good. I'm glad you made it out of there." And yet Bruce's mind gets stuck on someone else the moment Tali mentions stasis. Tali woke up, Tali's here now— but Trish isn't. The damn ship is keeping her trapped in there, worse yet during a time when everything's going haywire and parts of the Moira are either vanishing, being replaced or turned to glass, and he can't even see so he can't go over there and check if Trish's still alright, whole and unaffected.

Never mind that he may as well be falling apart without her; that's not a new sentiment. He'll just have to cope with that.
