In a way, Tali was almost glad she hadn't been here for the time leading up to the invasion. She came out of cryo to find the plans made and several crew members already on board the Caducan ship that had pursued them here.
It meant she didn't have chance to even think that maybe they'd stop if the Moira gave up the crew members who had been on the planet. Now that she had thought of it, after all was done, it made her think not of giving herself up, but of how if she'd been there for Bruce to suggest the same thing she would have instantly shot him down, and been horrified to have to do it. It was that thought that made her go to find him.
Her own transformation was hidden underneath her shirt sleeve, under the gloves she was using from her old environmental suit, but it was there anyway: the skin of her right arm, from fingers all the way to her sternum - semi-opaque, crystalline glass. And it hurt - every movement brought with it a sharp, nauseating surge of pain she could only hope would fade in time. But even with that, seeing Bruce made her physically recoil as soon as she saw him. Her mouth dropped open, and he would probably hear her breath catch before she hissed out softly, "Keelah..."
She reached his seat in a few steps - dropped down into a crouch to look at him, exhaustion in every line of his face save for-- She swallowed, and, "Hey - hey, it's me, Tali."
