[ Though they really hadn't had an opportunity to move beyond that rocky start, one way or another, it didn't change the fact that Hamilton was a member of his crew. For Adrien that meant that while they could squabble and argue and debate from one black hole to another, when the chips were down you had each other's back.

So yes, very much that camaraderie born of the heart of battle.

In fact, catching the defective weapon, Adrien hunkered down on his heels near Hamilton. Unspoken was the trust that Hamilton would keep their enemy off his back (or at least warn him) while he worked.

The doctor stripped the weapon down with deft speed, unbothered by the chaos around him as he worked. ]

Someone got over anxious about the upcoming fight. They over oiled their weapon. [ He explained as he looked down the chamber and frowned. ] Now it's filthy down there.

[ He's explaining this only because Hamilton might run into the same problem with the new weapon; if over oiling was a ship wide issue. There was no time to clean the weapon, so instead Adrien reassembled it and spun on his heels, glancing at his roommate. ]

Are you okay firing and clearing the casings manually to avoid another jam?
