Bruce could have a whole lot against Rinzler for what happened with Peter alone, but he doesn't. He's made an effort to understand, actually, even having gotten to meet him and talk to him for the first time not too long ago. There's definitely something strange and complicated there, but Bruce had just thought that was the kind of program he was, yet to truly know and understand himself.

He would've never guessed that Rinzler was in any way comparable to the Hulk, though— some change from another program that looks shockingly human, and a stark contrast to Rinzler himself.

"I don't imagine it's easy on him," he pauses. "I don't imagine it's easy on you, either."

Bruce would dread to think what it would be like to have the Hulk as a separate entity going around the ship, honestly. And while it's not exactly the same thing, it's still understandably upsetting.

"Is that what he is, then? Some kind of... response triggered by fight or conflict? Is that transformation an intentional part of your programming?" The questions might be a little invasive and uncomfortable, but Bruce guesses Tron will tell him if he doesn't want to answer them.
