Not... exactly.

[ If he looks more apologetic than the rest of the crew would, or should, it's for good reason. What she does know isn't wrong, either, but it's definitely not the whole story, and being here on the ship, he knows it's just a matter of time for her to learn about all the details.

So, he bites back the hesitance, and goes on to explain a little more of the story. ]

It wasn't just someone. There was a monster. It came-- with the ship. In a way. [ How does he even begin to explain that the monster is inside one of the members of the crew? Inside of him? He's sure she'll ask in no time, though, so for now he keeps it less specific. ]

He got loose. It was an accident. The natives didn't know, but they triggered that. The monster went on a rampage on your planet. Other crew members tried to stop him, but he was too strong. The damage to the Ingress happened because of a fight between that monster and one particularly strong man on the crew.

[ Normally that would've been enough to push the Hulk back, to force him into running away, but the glass planet was too frail for that. By the time the fight started, the place was probably already cracked to the core. ]
