Bringing things back from Alderaan was a bit of a whim-- an attempt to save some small part of the doomed planet, spontaneous and hurried. When he ends up in Coronet City with Luke, they put a little more thought into things, and he's got a hold full of Corellian alcohol to show for his efforts. This is maybe the first trip he's making solely for gain, not just curiosity-- and Lando is just the traveling companion for it.
"No clue," he says, and though maybe he ought to be nervous he's grinning. It feels like an adventure, the kind of dumb thing they'd have done back when they were young and far less responsible. That kind of thrill has an appeal you don't grow out of.
