It’s been a few days since the Recoding horror and Nihlus is standing somewhat awkwardly off to the side of the inverted Ingress.
There are a million and one things he needs to do right now and none of them were taking a human woman on a potentially risky venture into his universe. He’s actually not entirely sure why he’s let Allison talk him into this at all, but it’s hard to come up with coherent arguments when you’re half passed out on the cafe counter.
And well, she’d looked so... sad.
There were promises involved too, and no matter how tired he’d been at the time, Nihlus generally made it a point to try and keep those. Albeit with some addendums in this instance, like the fact that they would pull away immediately if things so much as looked like they were about to go sideways.
So far, he hadn’t heard of any… extremely horrifying incidents from the other crewmembers.
… And Allison had, apparently, come from a world where people get messily murdered by paper soldiers and angels, so her chances of survival in a worst case scenario weren’t awful.
… Still, maybe he should’ve brought a pressure suit.
OTA/Wildcard
There’s a turian wandering the edges of the Amissis-Re’s Ingress platform, mapping out and comparing the layout of this portal’s machinery and the Moira’s with his omni-tool. He’s quiet and he seems a bit tired, but is quite approachable otherwise.
It’ll take a bit of convincing to make him go on portal adventures with you, though.
