[It's only after he mentions going back does J realize just how tired she is. Tired and exhausted, both physically and emotionally, like she's just run thousand miles non-stop, limbs feeling heavy and head light-headed. But there's more to it than just that. It's like there's a huge boulder-like weight, one that's always been so firmly stuck in its place that it's been easy to forget about its existence -- that's now given a push, forcing it to move.

She runs her fingers through her hair, combing the curly fringe back, and nods in agreement.]


He really should keep his nose out of places where it doesn't belong. [She mutters. Despite the negativity of her words her voice is lacking any kind of harshness. ]
