If the sight of humans mutilated had broken had left her uncomfortable, it wasn't enough for Rune to forget her mission. She had to save as many people as possible. They needed to make sure that all of the ship's crew members made it back safely. She's not the best person for the task, but her body is certainly more durable than a normal person's and she's had no trouble shoving aside the dregs that have tried to cling to her (even if everytime she overdid it she found herself flinching and apologizing--she really isn't used to fighting.)
To be honest, though, it's starting to overwhelm her a little. There's too many people, too many promises being whispered, too many memories that she'd worked to forget being drawn out. It's a relief when she sees another person that stands out from the crowd, all in one piece and looking as though they themselves could use some help (and she has to privately admit to herself, a good excuse to withdraw for the moment.)
Prometheus might be able to hear her stuttering pleas to D-E-L before she ever gets near him:
"Oh... I, um, I don't think that I can stay! I have places to do--wait, that came out wrong! I mean, I have people to see.... Uh... I just... I really can't stay here! I'm just looking for my friend so that, um, we can go back together!"
There's an obvious shift in tone when she spots him, her eyes growing wide and words growing ever more desperate as she rushes over, pushing aside a couple crew members in the process,
"Yyou see? That... That's him right there! Um, hi! I... I... I'm here... I got sent here to take you back! I mean, to help you I mean... We should go back to the ship, right!?"
Rune may or not be a bit flustered by the entire situation.
