[ one might question the wisdom of miles jumping onto the spooky prison ship so soon after his recovery, but hell if he isn't stir crazy by now. the place is turning out about as creepy as every other place they've been, which is about what expected, and besides, there's actual work to be done. he likes feeling productive.
he thought he and clark were being plenty productive, but the strange sounds all around them are getting unnerving all the time, and clark asks miles to go track down lois, make sure she's alright. miles knows clark can handle things alone for now, and he heads out toward the infirmary section clark pointed him to -- how clark knows where to find lois, miles isn't sure. x-ray vision, or something. hell if he knows; he didn't bother asking, because clark seemed concerned enough and miles can always ask later.
he really doesn't like that constant surveillance deal that's obviously going on on del pascia; he knows DEL's cameras are watching, following him, and it's not as though he's not used to being watched, but at least imperial security is a little more subtle about it. the least the damn thing could do is provide a map, at least; the prison ship is huge, and miles is uncomfortably reminded of a few unpleasant experiences of his own.
unfortunately, miles doesn't have x-ray vision of his own, so once he gets down to the deck clark had directed him to, he's got to find the infirmary on his own. he's been meaning to get into one of those at some point. he meanders down the hall, looking around as he calls for lois, and wonders if it's occurred to clark that this'll be the first time miles and lois have met. ]
