The heat is stifling by human standards. For a program? It's different, but definitely not better.. Rinzler doesn't sweat, but he can feel the heat dragging at his code, pushing it past any metric of ideal function. System over temperature. Errors compound, glitches and lag stringing out until his processes self-terminate unclosed. It's compounded by the existing damage, and the power loss out to the air. It makes it hard to hold more than the most basic thought together.

Not that the current situation requires much. Rinzler's helmet tips up at the greeting. At the line that follows... well, he stares. Incomprehension? Incredulity? Subtle rejoinder? Deacon can decide.
