Kaworu doesn't actually need to eat; his S2 engine takes care of all his energy needs. So most times he really just doesn't bother, in part because every time he does, someone gets upset with him for what he's eating or how he's eating it.
But Toriel is a friend--more specifically, she's a friend of Frisk's, who is someone he would like to continue being 'friends' with, as best as he can right now. And he has nothing he dislikes about her, except perhaps for his continued ambivalence about the concept of a 'monster' being so different from that of a 'human.'
Which isn't Toriel's fault in the slightest and has no bearing at all on the topic of pie, so there's no reason not to accept her generosity and take a slice, right? But also:
