It would be a lie to say she isn't relieved he's turning her down. Finding the toy sitting in her room had been the bright spot of the month prior, a piece of home and a token of better memories right when she was at the worst of her panic. The smile she shoots him is grateful.
"Cas," she repeats, thinking that it sounds familiar. The dark haired girl who'd offered her a weapon had a similar name, but similar hardly meant same around here. "I'll keep an eye out for her. Kinda nice to meet someone like a lady runner."
She snorts, flops down beside him. The girl frowns up at the ceiling, watching the funny way the lights play off the water. "Why would they? Just give people something else to hope for."
