[ It's a couple of weeks into his new arrival that Bucky finally goes to where he's been assigned, having spent the days before that exploring the ship, more than half-certain that the entire thing was some sort of elaborate trap. That, and the fact that he knows he ought to spare his new roommate the myriad problems that he comes with -- the nightmares, the paranoia, the sudden bursts of violence that he has little control ever on the occasion.
But catching whatever little shut-eye he can locked away in narrow spaces is untenable, and he's become more curious about his roommate as the days pass. Which is why this morning finds him here, cautiously easing into the room. He'd only just showered and shaved, and the last thing he expects is seeing a pug (and what kind of a giant strange-looking dog is that beside it?) trotting towards him from their spot in the middle of the room.
