Predictably, Rosethorn is in fact in the garden. It's nice to see Papyrus in a good mood that seems genuine, rather than a forced and stilted cover-up for other emotions entirely. She doesn't even think she'll find his aggressive optimism exhausting today. Rosethorn has spent enough time drained and exhausted lately. She finally has some energy again.

"I'm making up for all the resting I did last week, " she tells him. "My month was off to a rough start."
